This time tomorrow we’d have done the unthinkable and pulled a Boeing 737 weighing in at a staggering 35,0000kg

There’s still time to donate towards Home-Start Wessex and the wonderful work they do with families in difficult circumstances.

The crew has assembled and are ready to take on the mighty Boeing 737 as part of the Dorset Plane Pull at Hurn Airport in aid of Home-Start Wessex on Monday at 13:20.

Why are we doing it?
For Christchurch RFC community matters. Home-Start Wessex need our help to support their work with families experiencing difficult times in the local area, to ensure their children have a childhood they deserve. After all, they only get one chance in their lifetime…

Heroic efforts look great in news articles but they mask an ugly truth. For clubs to be sustainable, consistent shared efforts spread among many people are needed. Systems built on the backs of heroes are at risk of failure when those people inevitably go away. Create structures that stand the test of time.
