Ye Olde Knowle Bowling Club is a Crown Green Bowls venue situated in Dorridge, Solihull. We currently have over 100 playing members but are always on the lookout for new members to join our successful club.
23 league teams represent us on a weekly basis, with matches played in the mornings, evenings and at the weekends. We arrange internal social bowling as well as run annual club competitions. T

We were treated to some fantastic displays of bowling this afternoon in the Curtis Trophy doubles competition.
Now in its 40th year, the club was presented with a beautiful bench to mark the occasion by Sylvia Moody, and we all enjoyed her famous scones in the interlude before the final matches.
The eventual winners were Ken Faulkner and his granddaughter, Isabelle Pritchard, here pictured with runners up David Green and Elizabeth Blight.

What a fantastic afternoon at Ye Old Knowle Bowling club!
We had the pleasure of hosting the home leg of the Ladies' County championships semi-final, with Warwick and Worcester facing Yorkshire.
There were some closely fought games, and some wonderful bowling on display, but ultimately Yorkshire proved to be the better team on the day.
The bar was open, our BBQ was busy and the home made cakes went down a treat. Many thanks to those of our member volunteers who helped to make it a very enjoyable event

Yesterday afternoon we welcomed flat green bowlers from Leamington who were keen to try out the 'other' bowls game!
They later joined our members for drinks and BBQ food on our patio - a great evening.

Today we celebrated the beginning of a sponsorship partnership with Avery Healthcare, and welcomed Nicola, their representative from Birchmere House, for the presentation of a new banner and a cup of tea with some of our members.

'Shirley Late Knights' (former Round Table members) recently enjoyed an evening get together at the club, making good use of the bar and tucking into fish and chips whilst also participating in games of 'Killer' on the top green.
A good time was had by all!
