⚽️ Kixx Camp Week 3, Day 1! ⚽️

What a fantastic start to another week of football fun! 🙌 A huge thank you to all our Kixx campers for bringing the energy, smiles and enthusiasm today.

And a special thank you to all the coaches, parents and everyone who helps make Kixx camp so special. ❤️⚽️

Sometimes, the quietest voice is the loudest. ⚽️

Coaching 3- and 4-year-olds has taught me something simple:

You don’t always need to raise your voice to capture attention.

Sometimes, whispering works better.

When the environment is busy and noisy, lowering your voice can make children stop, lean in and listen.

It creates curiosity.

It makes them think:
“What is the coach saying?”

And suddenly, instead of shouting over the noise, you’ve captured their attention through calmness and connection.

With young children, coaching isn’t just about what you say — it’s how you say it.

Sometimes, the best way to be heard is to speak a little quieter.

What we love most about this post is that so many of these children have been with us since they were just 2 or 3 years old, and so many are now playing for grassroots teams. 🧡

Seeing the older generation of KIXX kids looking after and inspiring the younger generation of kixx players is so special. It’s exactly what our community is all about.

We absolutely love seeing everyone back at camp — old friends, new faces, and generations of KIXX kids all together. 🧡⚽️
