We are an 18 hole golf club, situated near the town of Diss, on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border. A heathland course, blessed with free-draining, sandy soil, resulting in a top-quality golf experience, all year round. We have a large clubhouse, with a well-stocked bar and restaurant. We also have an onsite Pro Shop selling merchandise and can provide golf tuition, using our practice facilities. We offer a wide range of flexible, great value membership options and visitors and societies are always welcome. We can also cater for external events and parties. We look forward to welcoming you to Diss Golf Club!

🏆 WINNERS 🏆

Congratulations to our Ladies, who today won the
County Ladies Senior Jubilee Shield.

The final was played at Hintlesham Golf Club against .

The match came down to the last few holes as Sandra Bowman and Jenny Dartnell came back from 2 down with 3 to play to force a play off!

And then in the play off Jane Izod and Georgie Banks won the first extra hole to win the match!

Very well played ladies, an amazing win! 🎉

Saturday 5th September 2026

We held a Ryder cup style match between Norwich City FC & Ipswich Town FC fans at the club.

The match was held in great spirit in memory of Trevor Whymark, who played football for Ipswich Town FC and England, to Raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society charity, in which member Carl Whymark, son of Trevor, recently raised money walking along Hadrians Wall.

The match consisted of 27 holes, 9 holes foursomes in morning, followed by 18 4bbb matchplay in afternoon and then a meal out in Spice Cottage in the evening.

🏆 Winners of the match this year were the Ipswich Town Fc fans with 13 points to 7 points victory. 🏆

Was a great day, enjoyed by all and a fun way to raise money for a great cause.

Thank you to all the members who played & donated and to Sean Brady & Katharine Allen for organising the event.

Chris Maskell Trophy Results

On Saturday we held the Chris Maskell Trophy sponsored by 2026 Club Champion Darren Maskell & Family up the club.

Was a great day and turn out with nearly 100 members playing in the event.

Junior Club Championship Results

Yesterday we held our Junior Club Championship.
Was great to see so many juniors out competing for the Scratch & Nett prizes and to see the younger juniors compete for the 9 Hole Jill Driver cup.

Well done to Imogen Potter on winning her 6th Scratch Championship in a row and to Jay Bobby on winning his first junior comp with a nett 64.

With more extreme heat expected over the coming days, the course remains exceptionally dry and vulnerable to fire.
We are not imposing a smoking ban, but we ask all smokers to take extra care:
• Ensure ci******es are fully extinguished 🚬
• Dispose of them safely.
• Never discard cigarette ends or anything else onto dry grass, rough or woodland edges. 🙅🏼
With the ground this dry and fire risk elevated, even a small ember could cause serious damage.

Great few days away for our junior team in the National Junior Team Finals at Woodhall Spa.

Great experience for the lads.

Even though it wasn’t the scores they wanted, the boys were a true credit to the club in the way they behaved, performed and showed how much representing the club means to them.

Special shout out to Junior Captain Harry Burr with great score today of 37 points on a course that was proving tough to score on.

Thank you to all the support from the families and Club Captain Phil Allen along with Katharine Allen
Great to see so much support for them.

And we had a fun night out to celebrate Captain Phil’s birthday 🎂

🟣 Melanoma Texas Scramble Charity Day 🟠

Thank you to everyone at the club who played or donated for the Melanoma Charity event on Sunday, raising money for the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital 🏥 so that they can continue to buy equipment to help diagnose & treat Melanoma skin cancer patients.
With your amazing generosity we raised just over £3000!

Thank you to Sean Brady for organising the event each year and the Club Captain Phil Allen for presenting the prizes & donating the prizes for the putting game.

Special thank yous to Katharine Allen for making the Hampers for our raffle draw and to Monica & Ciera for running the half way house/raffle on the day.
