Huge congratulations to the Disley Juniors on a fantastic 3–2 victory over Denton in the quarter-finals of the MDGA BMW Junior Matchplay! 👏

A hard-fought match that went right down to the wire, with the team showing great golf and determination to get over the line.

🏌️‍♂️ CAPTAIN’S FUNDRAISING GOLF DAY – OPEN TO EVERYONE! 🏌️‍♀️

We’re looking forward to a fantastic day at Disley Golf Club on Sunday 20th September, raising money for this year’s Captain’s Charity.

And importantly – you don’t need to be a member to take part!

Congratulations to everyone who took part in a fantastic Lady Captain’s Day at Disley Golf Club! ⛳️

The weather couldn’t have been better, making it the perfect day for golf, and there were some superb performances across the field.

A huge congratulations to Judy Potter, who claimed the Lady Captain’s Day title with an excellent score of 66. Well played!

The Stableford Competition was won by Barbara with a brilliant 44 points, with Tina finishing runner-up on 34 points.

A special thank you and congratulations to Lady Captain Colette Corrigan for hosting such a wonderful day. From all accounts it was a fantastic event, enjoyed by everyone, and a great celebration of ladies’ golf at Disley Golf Club.

Well done to all the prize winners, and thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a success.

🚨 Hole in One Alert! ⛳🎉

Congratulations to our Lady Vice Captain, Gaynor Calvert, who today recorded a fantastic hole in one on the 6th hole!

A brilliant achievement and one that every golfer dreams of. Many congratulations, Gaynor, on a memorable ace! 👏🏌️‍♀️

Simon Carter’s President Weekend

We saw him teeing off in the very first group on Saturday morning, and by Sunday afternoon he was collecting the biggest prizes of the weekend.

Congratulations to Cheshire Seniors player Phil Leadbetter, who completed a fantastic double by winning both the President’s Trophy (Net) and the Summer Scratch (Gross) competitions.

A huge well done also to Simon Carter, Disley Golf Club’s President for 2026, for hosting a fantastic President’s Weekend. The halfway house was superb on both days with an excellent selection of food and drink, and Simon kept everyone entertained at the presentation with his trademark jokes!

A special mention also goes to Judith Potter, who won the Ladies’ prize in the first year of the mixed competition format.

It was another brilliant weekend at Disley Golf Club and once again showed exactly what makes the club so special – a fantastic golf course, great competitions, and an even better group of members. Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success.
