Our first competition of the season, and what an incredible day we had! ✨

A huge well done to all of our wonderful students who danced yesterday. The majority of them are new competitors this season, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they rose to the challenge. Stepping out onto the floor and dancing a solo takes so much courage, confidence and determination, and every single one of them absolutely smashed it! 👏🏼🌟

We are so proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings! 🩵

💙 Remembering our beautiful Judy 💙

This week, we said our goodbyes and paid our respects to Judy, our lovely, always bubbly and beautiful Silver Swan. 🦢💙

Judy was a truly beautiful lady, both inside and out, with such a wonderful zest for life. She made our classes so much brighter, always had us laughing and we all loved hearing the stories of her fabulous holidays and adventures. Our classes simply won’t be the same without her, and we are absolutely devastated to have lost such a beautiful and special member of our dance community.

Judy had a wonderful way of making everyone feel special, valued and loved. She had a kindness and warmth that was completely genuine, and she made everyone around her feel like they mattered. If there is one thing Judy has taught us, it is that we should all be a little more like her kinder, more generous, more positive, more carefree and always ready to celebrate the people around us. 💙

Judy was always so proud of everyone’s accomplishments. She celebrated every achievement with us and was especially proud of us when we were given the opportunity to go to Disneyland Paris. She was so excited for us to attend and, in her own special way, she did her bit to help make it possible. Her belief in me and in these children was truly incredible and meant more than words can say. 💙

Judy believed in us, encouraged us and was always there cheering us on. Her kindness, generosity and infectious personality will stay with us forever, and we feel incredibly lucky to have shared so many wonderful moments with her.

We will miss you more than you’ll ever know, Judy.
Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our dance family, for believing in us, and for always making us feel special.

A week on from our amazing trip to Disneyland Paris, we wanted to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to all the incredible local businesses who supported our fundraising efforts. 💙

⭐ Introducing Musical Theatre classes ⭐

AC Ballet Academy is bringing the joy and magic of musical theatre to Disley by launching new Musical Theatre classes created by the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance (RAD).

Led by Miss Alana an RAD Registered Teacher, the classes follow the RAD’s Musical Theatre syllabus that has been expertly and uniquely designed to develop both practical performance skills and theoretical knowledge of musical theatre history.

The benefits of the Musical Theatre classes include:

🎭 Build young children’s confidence in a safe learning environment
🎭 For older students taking Grades 6-8, these grades are recognised as UCAS points
🎭 Learn routines from current shows: The syllabus features choreography from Susan Stroman, Warren Carlyle, Matt Cole and Stephen Mear
🎭 Access to graded assessments to improve young people’s focus, confidence and discipline.

✨The proudest dance teacher in the world! ✨

I don’t think it has fully sunk in yet what we have achieved today… we just performed at Disneyland Paris! 🥹🏰✨

To my incredible kids, I honestly don’t have enough words to tell you how unbelievably proud I am of every single one of you. You absolutely blew me away today.

Your smiles. Your energy. Your quick changes. Your resilience. Your commitment. Your professionalism. The way you supported each other and gave absolutely everything you had on that stage. I couldn’t have asked for more 🥹

You were not only incredible performers, but you were also so polite, respectful and well-mannered. You are genuinely the most amazing bunch of kids to have the privilege of teaching, and you bring my visions to life in a way that has left me completely speechless.

You kids are MAGIC. ✨

Watching you perform in such an incredible place was one of those moments I will treasure forever. You have worked so hard, overcome challenges, pushed through nerves and tiredness, and today you stood on that stage and absolutely owned it.

And to all of our amazing parents, thank you. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for believing in me, believing in the school, supporting your children, and allowing me to take you on this journey.

There truly are not enough words to express how honoured, emotional and proud I feel tonight!!

Today wasn’t just a performance.

It was a memory. A milestone. A moment we will never forget.
My heart is absolutely bursting with pride. 🩵

Well done, my little stars. You made your teacher one VERY proud dance teacher today. 🌟🩵
