🧑‍🎓🧑🏽‍🎓SEPTEMBER – Learning from the Season (3rd Session)

Saturday Session – 9:45 for a 10am start Targetcraft Archers, West Lodge Rural Centre, Back Lane, Desborough, Kettering, Northamptonshire NN14 2SH – this is the final outdoor session of the season, and we will be moving indoors for the following sessions.

As the outdoor season begins to wind down, September is about reflection and learning. Every arrow you’ve shot this year has taught you something.

There are spaces available if anymore Juniors would like to sign up. We have both Male and Female Coaches delivering these sessions.

Remember we do need the payment beforehand to secure places and if you can use the same reference as before that helps immensely with ringfencing the money and the treasurer.

🎯Northamptonshire County Archery Society (NCAS) Junior Outdoor Tournament 2026 on Sunday 27th September.
🏹This friendly competition is open to juniors under 18 at all levels of their archery journey.
The County is keen for Northamptonshire juniors to participate and has made the event free for them. Juniors belonging to clubs outside of Northamptonshire are required to pay a £5 entry fee via bank transfer.

August brings sunshine, confidence and the chance to enjoy archery at its best. This month is all about developing skills, having fun and building belief in your shooting.

Wow, what an amazing day! 🎯

On Sunday, we held our annual Albion, St. George, and Windsor Tournament. While the weather stayed dry, it was overcast and incredibly windy! That challenging breeze persisted all day, but it was no match for our hardy archers. Everyone shot brilliantly, with a few even claiming new County records! 🏆

A massive shoutout to Helen, our judge for the day, who did a fantastic job keeping everyone in order with plenty of humor and style.
One of the best parts of the day was winding down together afterward. While waiting for the final results, everyone got to relax with a well-deserved cup of tea and a complimentary, homemade scone topped with cream and jam. ☕🍰

A Huge Thank You!
Tournaments like this simply cannot happen without the incredible team at our club. From the weeks of preparation to the volunteers, and competitors, who helped move equipment, baked delicious scones, cookies and shortbread and run the day smoothly—you are the backbone of this event.

In particular, a massive thank you goes to:
Martin, Caroline, Gary, Kyle, Pete, Helen, Sam, Liza, Carl, Rose, and Bella. Thank you to everyone who came out and made it such a memorable, successful day! Congratulations to everyone who won medals. Let's do it again next year!

Targetcraft Archers Albion, St George and Windsor Tournament kicks off with a great start 🎉
