Wensum are delighted to announce they will be working in partnership with Table Tennis England to deliver a TT Kidz Festival at the club on Friday 25th September between 4pm-6pm.

The plan is for this festival to lead into continous weekly TT Kidz sessions on a Friday that can then filter into the main club junior beginner session.

For the £5 sign up all participants get a t-shirt, bat balls and activity book on top of the session itself, so it is great value!

TTE coach developer will also be on hand at the festival to provide CPD and answer any questions related to:
Coaching younger children -practical approaches and what works well within TT Kidz.
TTE Player Development Framework – where TT Kidz sits in the wider pathway and why it matters.
Coach Development – Coaching Assistant course, Coach Membership, and ways volunteers can get involved.
Any other topics you would like to discuss.

The results of our pre season doubles tournament , held at Garvestone VH ,are now published and it was a fun but busy night with six teams playing 5 matches each .Team Eagles ( Paul Brown and Dominic Elrington) won by 2 points over The Hawks (Mark Bishop and Oliver Hood). Next week sees the first weeks matches of our 26/27 season , with new teams , new players and a new cup competition .

Some great 🏓 at the Norfolk inter league championships ,hosted by Wensum TTC, yesterday and our Dereham players did us proud winning two competitions , Alan Nicholls and Paul Pegg in the over 60’s and Oliver Hood and Mason Anema- Moran in the under 19’s competition 👏. Thanks to the organisers for a great event 👍 .

Our opening season doubles tournament will be held at Garvestone VH on Tuesday 15th September, match at 7.30pm and doors at 7.15pm. Entries are invited via our website form or email [email protected] and will be the same format as last year with a round robin based on 12 players and entry £5 on the door. Please get your entry in soonest, first come first served basis.

Our social sessions start back at The Dereham Leisure centre on Saturday 5th September from 10am to 12 noon. Open to all for a modest fee of £4 adults and £2.50 for under 18’s .
Our league season starts up w/c 21st September and a date for you diary our opening pre season doubles tournament will be on Tuesday 15th September 7.30pm at Garvestone VH , more information and entry forms will be posted up next week .
