Great first session with James!!! 🙌🏻

At the start of the session James was having to play across his front foot and therefore not able to access the ball properly. We worked on a few drills and really focused on opening his front foot up to allow him to step forward and play the ball straight with a straight bat! 👌🏻

As the session progressed we also focussed on holding his shape more when playing through the off side and making sure his bat follow through went in the same direction he wanted to hit the ball in, as apposed to cutting across it.

The final focus for the session was maintaining his balance throughout the shot and “holding the pose!” 📸

As you can see… the results speak for themselves! Great work James!!! 👏🏻
