Please can I ask the dog owners to take responsibility for their dogs when walking them and clear up their 💩 not just on the GB Barrington Playing Field but around the village.
Today I went to the cricket match to do the teas and before I could start anything I had to clean up a massive pile of dog poo right outside the pavilion.
How anyone could not see their dog do it is beyond me! I don't mind clearing up after my two dogs but to have to clear up after other people's is totally unacceptable.

We play our home matches at the picturesque G B Barrington Playing Field named after a teacher who arrived in the village in 1876 who went on to play cricket for Derbyshire and devoted over 50 years to Kirk Langley Cricket Club. Ashbourne Hockey Club are looking for any men (13 + ) who maybe interested in retaining their fitness over the winter months by joining Ashbourne hockey team. It’s a friendly mixed age and ability team that set up last year but having won their league are going from strength to strength. If anyone is interested then there is a club day on the 6th September and training starts on Wednesday the 9th September. They currently have members play hockey in the winter and then move across to cricket in the summer which seems to work well.
