Everyone at Denton West End AFC is heartbroken by the sudden passing of our former coach, James.

A much-loved coach, our local postman and a true friend to the whole community - James brought a smile to everyone he met.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone who loved him.

Rest in peace, James. ❤️⚽

Are you free on Wednesday and fancy lacing up your boots for an a hour of adult football.

We're looking to recruit some players to our adult football here at West End AFC.
If you're 17 or above then come along and give it a go, maybe you played for the club previously at youth and can come back and get back in the Green and Black for another go.

Appreciation post for all our wonderful local businesses and partners who supported our fun day last week - we couldn't have done it without you and the money raised will make a lasting change to your local grass routes football club.

Thank you to everyone who made the West End AFC Fun Day such a fantastic success! We're delighted to announce that the day raised an estimated £6,250 for the club! 🟢⚫⚽

Everyone who came along, supported the club and created such a brilliant atmosphere.

A huge thank you also to all of the local businesses and companies who generously donated some fantastic raffle prizes. Your support is hugely appreciated, and we'll be sharing a dedicated thank you to all of our sponsors and prize donors over the coming days.

Events like this simply wouldn't be possible without the commitment and support of so many people within the West End family.

Over the next couple of weeks, we'll provide an update on how the money raised will be invested back into the club to benefit our players and facilities.

I hope everyone is ready for what promises to be a great afternoon down at West End AFC.

Doors will open from 12:30 at both Granada Park and Windsor Road entrances. Please avoid driving if you can and be respectful of where you do park. The road down to the club from Denton West Cricket Club will be closed to cars from 10am.

As per club policy the playing fields and club house will remain dog free for the event - so no dogs please.

Please try to bring cash to purchase tokens which will be used for the majority of activities, but both card and cash will be accepted at the bar and all food and drink vendors.

Our huge prize draw will be taking place at 4pm, so stick around for that.
