WE ARE THROUGH TO ROUND 2🏆

A 5-2 win against a strong Bursledon side sees us safely through to the second round of the invitation cup!

We started fast and gained a 2-0 advantage before Bursledon fought back and equalised making it 2-2. We dug deep, defended hard and kept pushing to secure a win. With 4 incredible finishes from Ruby and 1 perfect finish from Bex we walk away with a 5-2 win.

The hard work has paid off and today was an example of the fight, character and quality of this team. Now we wait to see who we face in the next round!

Today we welcome Bursledon reserves to our home at King George for our first cup game of the 2026-27 season.

We enter the first round of the invitation cup today with a focus on securing our place in the second round. We’re ready to compete, defend hard and attack harder.

This is how we’re looking for our next 4 fixtures 🔵
We welcome four different opponents to our home at King George over the next month. One league fixture and three first round cup games ahead.

Our focus is to secure +3 in the league and in the cups we’ll be fighting to put ourselves into the second round.

There are some exciting and challenging games ahead but we’re ready. We’ll be putting in the hard work week in week out at training to prepare and be ready to bring intensity from the first whistle.

We hope to see as many supporters at home as possible!💙

This weekend we welcome Bursledon reserves to King George for the first round of the invitation cup.

We’re going into this game with a strong team who is focused on competing from the first whistle and giving the game our all. We’re looking to bring intensity, stay disciplined and put everything into earning our place in the second round. A tough weekend and a tough result to take.

The girls battled but it just wasn’t enough. We learn from our mistakes, take the lessons forward and use them to come back stronger and sharper. It was a tough game without our keeper but we’re thankful to one of our players for stepping up and in-fact made some cracking saves despite the score.

We’re back on the road as we travel along to Hythe & Dibden for our second away fixture of the season. We’ve focused & put in a lot of hard work this week in training. We’re looking to create chances, stay composed & eager to perform from the start.

A fresh new game, 3 points to play for and another opportunity to show our ability. We’re ready to compete, create chances, find the back of the net and fight for all 3 points this weekend.

Our opening game of the season sees a narrow defeat but a performance full of positives, excellent football and determination 💙

We displayed excellent control, communication and composure throughout with the girls showing real character to fight back and level the game multiple times.

Not our result today but we’ve walked away full of positives and plenty to continue building on. We’ll face Gosport again at home where we’ll be ready to win back 3 points.

We make the short trip down the road to Gosport Town for our opening fixture of the season. A strong opponent and the perfect opportunity to put our pre-season work into action and show what we’re capable of.

Three points are up for grabs and we’re aiming to secure all 3. We’d love to have your support from the sidelines as we get the 2026/27 season underway💙
