DLL announce official media partnership with Heart North and Mid Wales
Denbighshire Leisure Ltd (DLL) are proud to launch a partnership with Heart North and Mid Wales, promoting all of DLL’s venues, attractions and leisure sites across the region to Heart listeners.
DLL and Heart North and Mid Wales partnered together in 2025 for the re-opening of DLL’s flagship attraction SC2 Rhyl and the team are now back together.
Kristy John, Station Director for Heart North and Mid Wales said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Denbighshire Leisure Ltd again for another year, DLL is at the heart of North Wales’ leisure and tourism offering so we’re excited to announce this 12 month partnership. Northern Soul enthusiasts will be dancing the night away with DLL on Saturday 12th September, when their much-loved Northern Soul night returns to 1891 Restaurant & Bar.
Fans can look forward to an unmissable evening of music and dancing, when 1891, located in Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, will once again be transformed into a vibrant celebration of soul culture. Guests can look forward to an unforgettable evening of iconic sounds, high-energy dancing, and a welcoming atmosphere for music lovers, capturing the true spirit of Northern Soul.
DJs Tim Conway, Chris Conway, Mike “Moonshine” Roberts and Geoff Allman will be spinning the classics from legendary artists, alongside those hidden gems that have kept the Northern Soul movement alive for decades.
Tickets are on sale now and demand is expected to be high. Early booking is strongly advised.

SC2 Rhyl retains Visit Wales Gold Award for excellence
SC2, DLL’s flagship tourist attraction has retained its prestigious Visit Wales Gold Award, recognising its high standards as a Quality Assured Visitor Attraction.
Located on Rhyl’s promenade, SC2 brings over 10,000 visitors a week to Rhyl during the Summer and is one of North Wales’ premier tourist attractions.
Following an in-depth Visit Wales Visitor Attraction Assessment (VAQAS), the Gold award is awarded to attractions that achieve excellence for their facilities and customer services. The detailed assessment looks at the customer journey from start to finish, and having been described in the report as offering excellent features for visitors of all ages, SC2 was also praised for its immaculate presentation and high levels of cleanliness.
SC2 has something for the whole family, with a waterpark with breath-taking flume rides, outdoor Splash Pad for the warm Summer days,Ninja Tag, an exciting multi level assault course and a Adventure Play, dinosaur themed play area for younger visitors. The Rainforest Diner and outdoor Terrace are the perfect place for the family to refuel after their adventures.
