Any teams got a free weekend on the 3rd and fancy a game? We want to keep active now that the season has started. Ideally east lancs/ West lancs team but will play anyone, maybe able to host too... ⚽️

Our 3rd game of the new season seen us come out with a 9-0 against Mill Hill Hotel this afternoon. Not much to say other than after a slow start we gradually gained control after 15 mins or so and once we took the lead we never really looked like being troubled by our opposition. We led our opponents 3-0 at HT and eneded the game winning 9-0, credit to us who 4 weeks before the season looked like folding and not having a team to compete at all.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently.

Our 2nd game of the season was followed by a 5-0 win last week v Blackburn Utd.

Today we started pretty poor and couldn't adjust to the pitch after playing on 3g the week before and found ourselves down 2-0 after 15 mins or so.
Towards the end of the 1st half we started to play our game, hit the woodwork a couple of times and managed to grab a goal before HT which we knew would open the gates for more.
2nd half we came out how we ended the 1st and dominated play scoring 4 more and controlling the game to all but seal a comfortable 5-2 win.

Hi all.. sorry for the late replies to messages etc I have been away and just catching up on the news. We have been approached by loads of venues and clubs offering us a place to play from and as a team we honestly appreciate every single one so thank you. As a whole we have decided the easiest thing to do would be to stay as DARWEN OLIVE BAR and play from The Old Function Room in Darwen.

We're looking forward to starting the season and adding to the many trophies we have already won over the year's!

Our second pre season game ended in another win for the lads, we are a much changed team from last season so will take time to fully gel but we are building something good and once we're all on the same page it's going to be a great season I'm sure 👊🏽🔥

Pre season gets underway on monday as we take on The Vic in our 1st game of the summer. We haven't managed to get many booked in so we're still on the hunt for fixtures.

We're looking forward to getting some minutes in the legs with many new faces coming in we need to get used to eachother pretty quickly. If you're sat with nothing to do why not head up to Sqaure meadow at Holden Fold for a 6:30 K.O and have a watch.
