Olive on Carp rods - what are your thoughts 🤔?

In recent times we have seen a massive increase in the popularity of carp rods with an Olive finish whether that be in the handle, the whippings or both. Brands like Nash and Free Spirit have jumped on board with products like the Tel-E Class rods and Olive handle Scopes.

As a result, we have now got in stock our own Olive EVA and shrink tube components for custom rod building purposes 🫒🎣

Is this one of the most versatile landing net handles on the market 🤔?

Our Tackle Box 3-5-7 Telescopic Landing Net Handle is essentially three different handles in one. It adjusts and locks out at 3ft, 5ft 3 inches and 7ft 6 inches 📏

There is often a stereotype that telescopic handles are not up to the job for serious specimen angling and that is where the 3-5-7 handle comes in - we designed it specifically to fill that gap in the market for a robust and sturdy telescopic handle.

The shorter lengths are ideal for boat work and tight swims, and the 7ft 6 is ideal for those steeper banks or as a good all round carp net handle.

Darrell Peck’s CUSTOM Kaizens 🙌🏻

We were recently asked by Darrell to build a set of custom Kaizen Platinum rods to suit his long range angling with heavy leads.

These were built on a 13ft 4lb Kaizen blank but with the top three inches cut down to increase the stiffness even further.

Darrel opted for a cork handle, Fuji reel seats and braid-friendly double leg guides.

We’d like to say thank you to our rod builder Gary D for doing a great job on these and thank you to Darrell to trusting us with the build 💚
