Oh hello September. And just like that the summer is drawing to a close for another year. September marks yet another turning point in the year. A time to slow-down, organise and start to set those gentle routines.

My September newsletter should have just landed in your inbox. You can also read more of my September musings over on my blog.

I am wishing you the most beautiful and gentle of Septembers. Try to take some time, even if just five minutes to pause and ground, celebrating those little wins from the previous months.

I am so excited for the coming months and I really am looking forward to welcoming you to our new space.

Happy bank holiday weekend folks! I hope you all have an amazing weekend as we wrap up what has been a wonderful hot summer!

No classes next week as I paint and prepare the new studio! More on that next week!

Classes will start on Tuesday 8th September and the timetable will grow over the coming months as I find my flow and learn what would suit people going forward. So please let me know if you have a day and time that works for you and I will do my best to accommodate where possible.

Nourish - this is my generic yoga class, suitable for most people including beginners. You get a little bit of everything in this class. A good all rounder leaving you feeling revitalised and rested.

Unwind - a restorative yoga class with ALL the props. Longer holds and generally not coming up from our mats too much, if at all. You may leave feeling very floaty. This class comes with a warning that it may be very addictive! The rest you never knew you needed! Suitable for everyone.

Seasonal workshops - held on the equinox’s and solstices. A delicious three hours to dive into living seasonally on and off the mat. With herbal teas and cakes obvs!

Other classes in the pipeline are: yoga nidra (yogic sleep and very restful), ‘strong’ yoga class (a dynamic flow to strengthen the body), pranayama (breathwork) and monthly Saturday socials.

I provide a holistic approach to yoga. Yoga is not just exercise, it’s an opportunity to check in with your mind, body and soul through pranayama (breathwork), meditation and stillness, weaving yoga philosophy gently throughout.

ANNOUNCEMENT • Sanctuary Yoga Darlington now has her own home! So this morning I signed the lease to my studio.

This is the news I’ve been waiting to announce since April. Good things come to those who wait. From September all classes will now be held at 21 Coniscliffe Road and over the coming months the timetable will grow.
