Hundens Green Community Bowls Association

Another fabulous competition, Alan Cooper Australian Pairs attracted 30 pairs, teenagers against more mature people!! everyone played well and Rob Gibbins and Gary Lupton were the overall winners, winning all their games.
Runners up were John and Margaret Parkin and third were Ann Baggett and Michael English. All winning all their games too.
Thanks to everyone who helped and supported this comp.

Another enjoyable day at Hundens. Teams competed in glorious sunshine and great competative spirit was present. Congratulations to the winners, Darren Watson, Rob Gibbins and Derek Cooper winning all their games.

What a fantastic day with 4 counties competing to win their place at the National Championships. Durham were the winners. Well done ladies. Thanks to Peter, Sue, and Umpires Ken and Brian for their contribution. Delicious buffet was available all day and enjoyed by all. Brilliant day of bowls.

26 Brownies and some parents came to Hundens tonight and played skills games. The girls were fantastic, well behaved, polite and really enjoyed the games.

What a very successful day in our ladies pairs. We had 70/80 year olds and teenagers competing against each other and finishing in the top four.
Sue Harper and Maureen Calvert from Eldon Grove were 4th, our youngest entrants, Olivia Lewis and Charlotte Williams came 3rd, in second place after winning all their games with a plus 19 were Fay Slinn and Eileen Horan from Newton Hall and the winners with 3 wins and plus 27 were Julie Graham and Clare Michie.
Susan thanked all club members for the refreshments and hospitality and thanked all the ladies for their support.
Our next competition is a triples on 21st June. Entries being taken now.
