Good morning folks

Tomorrow Middleton St George Community Centre has their Summer Fair on from 11am. It's sure to be a good day despite the poor forecast.

****We must however, ask people not to use our car park or drive if attending their event. Under normal circumstances we are more than happy to help out and offer the use of our parking as we have in the past, however we have a private function and a game of cricket so we will need all of our parking to accommodate those.****

Morning folks,

The sun is out, everything is set up for the Fun Day and the first ball is about to be bowled. Bar is open at 11am.

Our bowling green is also open to anybody who wants to come give bowls a go.

Busy weekend up at the club this weekend.

Saturday's cricket fixture sees the 1st XI away at Witton le Wear and the 2nd XI at home vs Shildon.

Then Sunday we have our Annual Family Fun Day and Cricket tournament. First game of the day starts at 10.30.

Game 1 - 10.30am start
Darlington Ladies v SG Petch

Game 2 - 1pm start
Gudivers V Elliot’s containers

Final - 3.30pm

Good morning folks, a little cooler today.

Today's cricket sees the 1st XI at home Vs Cockerton and the 2nd XI away at Etherley.

We also have the Village Show on at the club this afternoon and our Bowls Section have an open green for anyone who would like to try their hand at some Lawn Bowls.

This Saturday we have the Annual Village Flower and Vegetable Show at the club.

Our Bowls Section are also opening their green for anyone who wants to come up and give Bowls a go.

And of course we have cricket on and the bar open. Should be a very good day.

Unfortunately the van is off the road undergoing urgent emergency repairs.
