I speak for everyone here at Barrow Futsal when I say Barrow, not just the footballing community but as a whole has lost a legend in Dennis Boyd 😔

Dennis played a massive part in my football development as kid as he did with thousands of others in the town! Football in this town today wouldn’t be what it is now if it wasn’t for Dennis and the countless hours/days/weeks/months/years/decades that he put into developing youngsters and helping them fall in love with the game. You didn’t have to have played for Barrow Celtic to know his name ⚽️

You will be missed by a whole town? Rest in peace Dennis 🟢

Benteke and Barbours boys both lead the way in the premier league with records of 2 wins and 1 loss but Murder on Zidanes Floor have 1 game in hand and face Benteke tonight 😮‍💨

In the championship both Arselona and Chubby Corner hold perfect records and lead the way in the race for the 2nd division title 🏆

After a bank holiday week off , we return to league action with plenty of lads playing to keep their match sharpness over the summer 🏃‍♂️

Where it began in 2010 ⏰

Where we are now in 2026 🏆

6 good friends started a futsal team together and played in their local league at sixth form college , won the league, entered more leagues … won more leagues , travelled all over the country playing five a side , came close to becoming national champions on 3 occasions 😮‍💨

16 years later we’re preparing for our 4th season in a national futsal league and 3 of the original 6 are still going an we’re apart of last Sundays Cup final win in Derby 🥳

Liam Shields coached as Dylan Wassell and Josh Jones both played ⚽️

Basil Olabi has featured on a few occasions this season for the club even with him living in Newcastle, Joe Tindale has been sidelined all year after a knee operation and Elliot Grafton is always welcome to come and watch 👊

Roll on next season as we go all out for promotion in our 4th season in a national league 🤝

Big Moment 😅 Even Bigger Save 🧤

With us leading 7-6, just over five minutes remaining on the clock and with us having already committed 5 fouls in the half, one more foul would result in a 10 metre penalty to Wessex ❌

If the foul was committed within 10 metres, the opposition would have the option to take the penalty from that exact position and that’s exactly what they chose to do, 8 metres out 🙃

A goal here would have levelled the game and momentum would have been with the opposition! Step Forward Jimmy Cooper 👊

Barrow Futsal 25/26 Managers Player Of The Year - Kyle Delves 🍊

After a long season for the club which resulted in us finishing off with our first bit of silverware, Kyle was the standout performer and fully deserved the award 🥇

Josh used 26 players throughout the season and made special mentions for Ryan Ireland, Corey Fittes, Diamant Pllana and Danny Pattinson but Kyle was the stand out name amongst the list 👏

Whether he played deeper in defence or leading the line on the road when we travelled with depleted numbers, Kyle always delivered, no more from the penalty spot! Ending the season with a 100% record from the spot ⚽️

Our 2nd top goalscorer this season as well having played the 2nd most amount of games for the club! Kyle will play a massive part in our push for promotion and a big cup run next season 🤝

The goal that won us the cup 🏆

With the score 7-6 in our favour , 3 minutes left on the clock and with us having already committed 5 fouls in the half ( meaning any foul we committed after that, resulted in a penalty to Sussex ) the pressure was on Kyle to tuck away the spot kick ⚽️
