Jacek Dalkeith Bowling Club steals the show with a hat trick of victories with 7 hours of bowling on Sunday. You are all winners in our eyes though and the support from Clubs, sponsors and great competition blew us all away.

Dalkeith teenager stars at biggest-ever Bowls Midlothian Finals Day - Midlothian View A 15-year-old Dalkeith bowler was the star of the show after winning three titles at Bowls Midlothian’s biggest-ever Finals Day.

Championship Finals Monday Evening Update...

Thanks to Musselburgh Municipal bowling club for their cooperation this evening to host 2 of the abandoned Finals from yesterday...

Congratulations go to Leigh Richardson Loanhead bowling Club who won a closely contested Champion of Champions match v Shona Johnstone Polton Bowling Club 21-20 completing the Double after winning the Ladies Singles yesterday.

And in the Ladies Rinks Dalkeith Bowling Club came out on top 20-10 v Gorebridge Bowling Club .

As mentioned earlier another 4 Finals finish @ Musselburgh tomorrow and Under 25's Singles & Pairs commence Eskmills Bowling Club .

CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS UPDATED ARRANGEMENTS 🏆

Following the unfortunate abandonment of a number of our Championship Finals due to the weather, arrangements have now been made for these matches to be resumed and completed.

Under the World Bowls Laws of the Sport – Crystal Mark Fourth Edition, Law 33 (Game Stoppages):

Law 33.1 states that where a game is stopped because of darkness, weather conditions or another valid reason, “the game must be continued either on the same day or on a different day. The scores will be as they were when the game was stopped.”

Therefore, all of our Finals which were abandoned due to the weather will resume from the score at the point the game was stopped, in accordance with the World Bowls Laws.

A brilliant day down at Musselburgh Municipal bowling club , showcasing some fantastic talent on the greens! 👏

We received lots of positive feedback on the facilities, bar and food trucks – thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other ideas 🌧️ and the final session was rained off. The outstanding games will be rearranged with those involved, and we’ll update everyone ASAP with the new dates and times so you can come along and support.
