𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓

A lively start saw us go ahead through a Abbie Robinson header. 2 Penicuik goals put us behind before a Rachel Rutherford goal drew us level. Both teams continued to make chances with Rachel Rutherford and Natalie Beveridge coming close before 2 late goals put us 4-2 down at the break.

The second half was tough to be honest, with Penicuik running out convincing winners. A couple of positives from the game were impressive performances from Teagan Bain and Rachel Rutherford at both ends of the pitch.

This weekend we are at home again with a Scottish Cup tie against Thornton Hibs.

We welcome Penicuik Athletic Women for our next ScottishPower Regional League Cup fixture for the first time this season, we get to do it properly on home soil. After plenty of travelling, we’re absolutely buzzing to finally bring match day HOME to Danderhall. 💪⚽️

We’d love to see as many familiar faces, friends, family and local supporters down as possible to help us make our first home game one to remember!

After 2 friendlies we resumed our League Cup campaign away to Dalkeith Thistle.

After falling behind early on the girls put on a battling performance and were unlucky not to get on the score sheet with Lizzie Joyce and Rachel Rutherford coming close.

Injuries made the last part of the game difficult with our Goalkeeper Teagan Bain making a couple of quality saves.

This weekend we have Penicuik Athletic in the League Cup at Danderhall where the team will be firing on all cylinders to get some points on the board.
