What a team. What a weekend. What a way to finish the tournament and the season.๐
Our NexGen U9s were outstanding throughout the entire weekend in Belgium, quality, personality and togetherness on their way to becoming ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ด๐ถ๐๐บ ๐๐๐ฝ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐. ๐
From their very first game, the boys played with bravery, intensity and real football intelligence โ competing against top opposition, scoring some fantastic goals and showing unbelievable character in key moments. โฝ๏ธ
But more importantly, they represented NexGen with professionalism, respect and class both on and off the pitch throughout the trip.
A massive credit to every player, coach and parent involved. This group should be extremely proud of what they achieved together.
A special mention also to our U12โs, who shared the weekend experience in Belgium. After an excellent opening day finishing top of their group, they showed unbelievable togetherness to travel across the city to support the U9s in the final and helping create a brilliant atmosphere during the game and a tense penalty shootout.
That support between the age groups, the togetherness across the weekend and the way the players represented each other says everything about the environment and culture that has been built.๐
