"Overall probably the closest scores for both ladies and gents with some incredible rallies all round. Many thanks as usual to Jan and Julie for their culinary prowes, so much so that Jan was concentrating so much on the cooking that he sadly yet again didn't make it but good news however, wife Julie was far more focussed and battled to the final.

Thanks to Syed and Julie K for our pictures and Nicola for her all round assistance. Thanks of course to The Lady Anne for providing the salad and fried onions, and last but by no means least, Sam's mum for the amazing padel themed cupcakes.

Congratulations to our gents champions Mike Daniels and returning champion George Brooks who triumphed in a hard fought finale against Sam Hughes and Ieuan Wilkinson. Ladies champions were Emily Blease and Jenny Pants Hamar, with runners up Julie Murdoch and Jane Carpanini.

A recent BBC article had us shocked with some of the prices to play padel out there - from memberships to court fees. We can safely say we are among the bracket of the most affordable padel out there! Plus - look at all you get for free!

We maintain that Padel needs to be accessible, from our offers for taster sessions so people can get to know the sport, to our event days, to our amazing community who constantly show up to support the Welsh Padel Centre - all in the name of a fitness regime, a hobby, a lifestyle that is fun, easy to learn and a great workout.

Some have golf memberships, some have gym memberships, some choose Padel. And we are here to make sure that continues!
