Abronhill Utd 2017’s

It was a tough morning for the blacks against a good Herastanes side yesterday.

Think the lads are still getting used the Saturday morning again since the summer but one thing is certain, they didn't give up in the game. Brilliant effort. POTW is Ruaraidh!! Well done bud and well played team.

Very close match against probably the best team we have played so far. Playing against a team that were in the league above us last year, the boys certainly didn’t look out of place.

There was some really nice football on show yesterday, and it was fantastic to see some great passages of inter-play, passing and movement. The boys worked hard throughout and showed plenty of quality and determination.

Well done to all our scorers yesterday — Rocco, Bjorn and Aaron. ⚽️👏

Special shout outs to Aaron, who never stopped working and played some really nice passes, and Cody, who looked incredibly dangerous yesterday.

But this week, perhaps an overdue POTW goes to Rocco. 🔥👏

A genuine thank you to all the parents who came along and supported the boys yesterday. Your encouragement from the sidelines is hugely appreciated and makes such a difference.

Great night of football from the blues last night. Loads of positives and a great result. Wanted to point out the hard work being done off the ball in particular. Boys pressed really well and did a fantastic job not to give our opponents alot of time or space on the ball, fantastic.

We gave Player of the week to Caleb 🤩. Great week at training and fantastic performance yesterday. Trusted himself with the ball in the game and was brilliant in build up to get us going. 👏

Man of the match ⚽ was given to Nathan #28. Worked so hard yesterday. Never gave up and applied his training moving with the ball aswell just like his defensive partner. Full of confidence. Well done bud. 👏

Special mention to Hunter and Ally, who both had great debuts. Well done guys!

🔵⚫ Abronhill 2017 Blues vs Galaxy Foundation

Today’s scoreline probably doesn’t tell the full story.

At half-time, the boys were feeling good about themselves, and rightly so. The football in the first half was really positive, with good spells of play and plenty to be encouraged by.

Unfortunately, once our opponents scored to make it 1-1, we lost some of our structure and composure. From there, the game opened up, and we lost a bit of confidence, which can happen in football.

From our point of view, there were plenty of positives to take. The boys showed today that when we play with confidence, structure and courage, we can play some really good football. The next step in our development is finding that consistency across the full game.

We made sure to remind the boys after the game to take courage from that first-half performance rather than dwell on the result. There is plenty there to build on. 💪

Kayden stepped in at LB today and looked absolutely great there. A really impressive performance in a new position.

Dunblane vs Abronhill whites 2017s

Well that was not boring 😅

A rollercoaster of a game from start to finish. Every single boy played their heart out and got a deserved victory with the very last kick of the ball.

Playing against a team that comfortably beat us last year. The boys never ever gave up. Even when going behind they never let their heads go down and fought for the win right to the end.

The scenes at the end and seeing the boys all celebrating together is absolutely priceless.

I could go on and on praising all the boys tonight, so many good individual performances but the most pleasing thing was watching them fighting for each other and the determination to get the win.

Special mentions to Rocco and Kai on both getting hatricks and Bjorn on his wonder strike. As we know, it’s not all about goals and Lucas was absolutely outstanding in defence and getting the boys up the park.

Well done to them all and thanks to all the parents who came to cheer them on.

Over the last 6 months, our Whites have come on leaps and bounds, developing tremendously both individually and as a team. ⚽️🤍

Under the fantastic guidance of Kris and David B, they’ve grown into a brilliant wee footballing side, playing with confidence, teamwork and a real love for the game.

The hard work, commitment and progress has been fantastic to see, and now they’re ready to take the next step and smash through the leagues! 💪🔥

Abronhill Blues Vs Forth Valley

Great day out today. Some of our attacking football was back to its best. Really impressive in bits. Left a few goals out there aswell.

Really unlucky to conceed the ways we did but the boys can take confidence in how well they played.

POTW was difficult today.

We had 3 brilliant candidates.
Eden - played both his positions really well, progressed the ball really well and had a great training session on Tuesday.

Nathan - Mr Reliable in the back. Puts the pressure then patient before recovering the ball fantastic. Really unlucky with the own goal today.

Archie - Grew into the game really well. When he came on in the second half, he made our front line work with his first time passing and combinations, ended up with 2 goals as a bonus.

Looking at it from impact within the game and training, we gave it to Archie this week.

Well done Archie #12 and well done team should be proud of yourselves today ⚽🔵⚫

Abronhill United blacks vs Harestanes Atletico

Outstanding performance from all the boys from the abronhill blacks game, came back from a loss last week to an extremely hard Harestanes team who show amazing movement and passing getting through our defence at times but with some great saves from Ruaraidh kept us in the game unfortunately loosing 3 goals in the first half the boys came out on the second half and left nothing behind getting 3 goals back a well deserved draw was a great performance from both teams

Abronhill Whites vs Falkirk FC Foundation

What a match. After taking the lead early we ended up trailing at half time. Saying that, the boys had enough chances to be well ahead.

The boys never gave up and got one back - to keep the scores close with some time to go. Again we had plenty of chances.

Really good effort from the boys and real signs of progress. Lots to work on in training, especially shooting 🤣.
