Congratulations to our very own Rosie McCorkell on her selection to the 🇬🇧 Great Britain U19 squad for the upcoming tournament in Luxembourg from 3–5 July.

Rosie will represent GB against 🇧🇪 Belgium and 🇱🇺 Luxembourg as part of the international competition.

Another well-earned selection for our goalkeeper and recognition of the hard work, dedication and performances she continues to show on and off the court. Everyone at the club is proud to see Rosie continuing to compete at this level, and we wish her and the entire GB squad every success in Luxembourg.

We couldn’t be prouder of their determination, teamwork, and resilience. Every match is a testament to their hard work and commitment that they have put in all Season.

The entire Tryst 77 family is deeply saddened by the passing of Scottish Handball Association
CEO Ewan Hunter.

Every interaction we had with Ewan was positive, insightful and uplifting. He was a true leader whose enthusiasm for handball was infectious, inspiring those around him with his vision, encouragement and unwavering belief in the potential of others. Beyond his role, he was a genuinely kind and thoughtful person who always made time for everyone he met.

As a close-knit handball family, these are qualities that resonate strongly with us. Ewan’s warmth, encouragement and dedication left a lasting impression on so many people across our sport.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Ewan’s family, friends, colleagues at Scottish Handball, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ewan’s dedication to handball, his commitment to the community, and his vision for the future of our sport will not be forgotten. We will continue to carry forward the enthusiasm, ambition and care for the game that he embodied.

The photograph shared was taken at the SHA awards, where Ewan presented us with the Club of the Year award. It is a moment that captures the joy, pride and energy he brought to our sport, and the genuine pleasure he took in celebrating the achievements of others within the handball community.

Rest in peace, Ewan. You will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew you.
