And that’s a wrap on the 3rd Annual CCNC Residential Summer Camp!! This 3 day camp is one of the highlights of our year!!

71 girls along with 9 residential coaches had an action packed time playing netball, trying new activities, building friendships and making memories!

A huge thank you to Stranmillis University College for hosting us and to the The Chip Factory Glenavy for feeding us!!

We are so grateful to our three specialist netball coaches Fionnuala Toner, Jenny Clayton and Mark McAreavey for sharing their expertise! 🏐

We also love giving our girls opportunities to try other activities and a huge thank you to those involved in taking these…

Congratulations to not one but Nine CCNC Club players selected to the Netball NI u17, u19 and u21 Academy Squad. Plus to our Four CCNC Player selected to the u19 Development squad.

Crumlin CNC Annual Primary School Tournament. Wednesday 17 June saw 7 local schools come together for the 2nd annual primary school tournament in Crumlin Leisure, with a big gun being brought it to officiate in the form of Maureen Caughers. Each school had “adopted” another school to support on the day and wow the chants, posters and support was amazing with the umpires struggling to be heard over the chant offs. The teams were presented with water and treats kindly donated by Spar Crumlin and Tesco Crumlin to keep them fueled for the day.

The pools games were loud and exciting with the teams for the finals being decided on a head to head against Loanends 1 and Ballymacricket in section 1 then St Aloysius and Ballinderry 2 had a play off as both teams were tied on points.

Ballymacricket and St Aloysius both progressed to their respective finals to face Ballinderry 1 and St Joseph’s who topped their groups.

After a fierce and closely contested finals both Ballinderry and St Joseph’s came out triumphant. Both finals were closely watched but NI Warrior Fionnuala Toner, who is preparing for her 4th CWG in July, who selected Ellie from Ballinderry and Niamh from St Joseph’s as the player of the match in their finals.

Before the presentation a player from each team asked Fionnuala a question and were provided with an insight of what it takes to perform at an elite international level.
