🐄🚜 Farm Week Fun 🐖🌾

This week, our swimmers have been enjoying a fantastic Farm Week theme across their lessons!

From friendly farm animals to tractor adventures, we've been bringing the farmyard to the pool through imaginative play, themed activities, and plenty of swimming fun.

👶 Accompanied Swimmers Our youngest swimmers have been exploring the farm through songs, toys, and water-based activities inspired by their favourite farm animals. Lots of splashing, kicking, and animal noises have helped make learning even more exciting!

🧒 Preschool Swimmers Farm-themed activities have been woven into lessons to encourage confidence, skill development, and imaginative play. Learning has been full of adventure.

🏊 Junior Swimmers Our junior swimmers have been enjoying farm-themed toys and activities throughout their lessons.

🐑🐄🐷 Our swimmers have had a wonderful time exploring life on the farm while continuing to develop their water confidence and swimming skills.

We love seeing our swimmers learn through play and imagination while making fantastic progress in the water.

Join us every Thursday at 10:45am for our Bubbles 'N' Fun Sessions,

Our Bubbles 'N' Fun Sessions are perfect for both current Bubbles 'N' Splashes swimmers and families who are new to our swim school.

🏊 For current members, they're a fantastic way to enjoy extra pool time, practise swimming skills, and continue building confidence between lessons.

💦 For those not yet attending lessons, they're the perfect opportunity for little ones to experience their first dips, enjoy a fun activity together, become comfortable in the water, and start developing valuable water confidence and swimming skills.

Each week features themed equipment that follows the same exciting theme as our swim lessons, creating a fun, engaging, and imaginative experience for children of all ages.

No commitment, no pressure, just plenty of fun, splashing, learning, and confidence-building in the pool! 💙

👒🎩 Fabric Hats Are Back 🎩👒

Our swim families have been so patient while we searched for a supplier who could match the right colours and the quality we expect — and we’re delighted to say that our pink and blue fabric hats are finally back in stock.

All swimmers already receive a FREE purple silicon hat at their first lesson, and we’ve always kept these available. Now, families who prefer our fabric style can once again purchase a pink or blue fabric hat.

Our Bubbles ’N’ Splashes branded hats are part of our uniform policy, helping keep hair tidy, improving visibility in the water, and supporting pool cleanliness.

🏊🛠️Fermor Pool Glow‑Up!🛠️🏊

We were very excited to be back at our Fermor pool this morning after their latest refurb — and what a transformation it is!

Not only has the entire pool been freshly re‑tiled, giving it a bright, clean new look… they’ve also installed a brand‑new pool bar, adding an extra touch of freshness and making the whole space feel even more modern and welcoming.

Take a look through to see the ⬅️before, ↔️during, and ➡️after photos — the difference is amazing, and we can’t wait for all our swimmers to enjoy the upgraded pool.

A huge thank you to the team at Henry Fermor C of E Primary School for all their hard work bringing this refurb to life.

This week our amazing teaching team have been busy refreshing their Safety Award for Teachers qualification — strengthening their pool rescue techniques and updating their first aid skills to keep every swimmer safe and supported in the water.

From practising safe, effective rescues to sharpening essential first aid responses, our staff have shown incredible dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety in every lesson.

We’re proud of their hard work and commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment for all our swimmers. 🌊✨

💦✨ WOW — What an amazing first day back! ✨💦

The pool has been full of smiles, splashes and so much confidence today. It’s been wonderful welcoming back our returning swimmers and meeting all our new families joining us this term. We can’t wait to see everyone throughout the week and continue building those magical swimming moments together.

📍 A quick reminder:
All lessons this week are running at our Ashdown pool while the refurbishment at Fermor is completed. We can’t wait to be back at Fermor next week and see the beautifully newly‑tiled pool.

🎒🏊🏻‍♀️🍂Back‑to‑School & Back-to-Swimming🍂🏊🏻‍♀️🎒

As our swimmers head back to Nursery, Preschool, Reception and Primary School this week, we know it’s a huge milestone — exciting, emotional, and sometimes a little overwhelming.
New routines, new faces, new environments… it’s a lot for little bodies and big hearts.

You may notice swimmers who were previously confident becoming:
😢More tearful
😴More tired
💜More clingy
🙅More hesitant in the water
📉Or showing small regressions

This is completely normal. A child’s swimming journey is never linear — it has peaks, pauses and wobbles, all part of learning and growing.
Our teachers are here to support your swimmer, but also you, as everyone adjusts.

💦 Lessons return next week, giving families a little breathing space to settle into new routines before diving back into the pool.
