Not a usual type of reel I post on my page but it's raw, authentic and just where I am at right now in my own bodywork practice.
Even massage therapists forget to do their own bodywork once they have treated their clients. We are human and forget to check in sometimes. And thats ok βΊοΈ
Sending lots of love to myself first π€ but everyone else whos feeling knackered, confused and conflicted right now π¦

The Power of Touch π
I believe that an important part of bodywork is to create enough space in the body for our most authentic self to come through.
Touch invites safety. Safe to express our suppressed emotions and allow or bodies to be soft and supple.
Bodyworkers can create safety through compassionate touch, allowing you to become aware of what your body is holding and begin to soften around it.
When the body feels safe enough to release protective tension, we can create more space for breath, movement, emotion and expression.
And when there is more space in the body, there can be more space for YOU.
THE BODY LEADS, THE TREATMENT FOLLOWS.
Why I no longer resonate with calling myself "just" a masage therapist...
After seven years of working with over a thousands bodies, I have witnessed something.
No two people ever arrive carrying the same story.
One person may need deep tissue work.
Another may need slow fascia release.
Someone else may simply need a space where their nervous system finally feels safe enough to let go.
That's why I don't follow the same routine every session.
I follow the body.
I listen through touch.
I observe the breath. I notice the places that feel guarded, restricted, or disconnected.
Then I create the treatment around what is present in that moment.
I have started calling this being a Treatment Artist π¨
Because an artist doesn't paint the same picture every day. They respond to the canvas in front of them.
For me, that canvas is the living human body.
Every layer of fascia.
Every breath.
Every scar.
Every holding pattern.
Every moment of surrender.
Each treatment becomes it's own piece of art.
If you'd like to experienxe a full outdoor somatic bodywork session, I've uploaded the complete video to my new YouTube channel.
I'd love for you to come and experience it.

I hear this story too often but I am greatful that I can actually help those clients.
This is not a post to hate on GP's, they are an essential part of the system. But when it comes to long term joint pain and muscular issues they seem to miss the mark on how to help.
Their first protocol will always be to prescribe, then physio, then surgery.
Sometimes just addressing the muscular tension and fascia restrictions are an effective solution to pain.
I also pride myself on educating my clients on why this might have happened, how they can help themselves and any lifestyle adjustments that can support their goals.
Every woman deserves this kid of soulful nurture in nature π«Ά
