❀️ THANK YOU – OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS & VOLUNTEERS ❀️

And finally, we end where Crieff Highland Gathering really lives β€” with our community.

Behind every packed arena, every pipe tune, every race, every caber, every pint poured and every smiling face on Games Day is an extraordinary amount of work carried out by people who simply care enough to help.

There are far too many people to thank individually, but please know this:

Every hour given, every favour called in, every van loaded, every barrier moved, every cake baked, every car shifted and every last-minute problem solved made a difference.

A huge thank you to:

πŸ₯ Comrie Pipe Band and our Highland Dancers – for helping build the atmosphere in the run-up to Games Day.

πŸ₯ Scoogz – our Music Booking Supremo, for all his help putting together this year’s Music Arena line-up!

🌱 Graham Copland – still very much in contention for Grass Cutter of the Year!

πŸ› οΈ Steve Ollerenshaw – Groundsman of the Year.

πŸ—οΈ Derek Saunders Builders – for the kind donation of scaffolding.

πŸ‰ Crieff & Strathearn Rugby Club .

⚽ Crieff Juniors FC – another great local club lending a hand.

πŸ™Œ Our Games Makers – the people who turn up, get stuck in.

πŸŒ‰ Building Bridges – for their valued support and involvement.

πŸ’§ Crieff Garage – for helping keep our athletes hydrated.

πŸ›’ Co-op – for their kind donation of water and support.

πŸ”΅ Logos Strathearn – for their help.

✈️ 1743 (Crieff) Air Cadets and Army Cadets – for giving up their time and helping us get Market Park ready.

🍬 Gordon & Durward – for keeping us sweet with their confectionery.

🍌 The Handy Shop – for supplying the all-important bananas that helped keep our athletes fuelled.

πŸš— The residents of King Street – thank you, once again, for moving your cars and helping us make the Pipe Band procession through Crieff as spectacular as ever.

🍺 And a huge thank you to Grieg, Paul, Audrey and all the 1870 Bar team. You served an incredible number of pints, kept smiling throughout and helped create the brilliant atmosphere that has become such an important part of Games Day. Tony couldn't be prouder of what you achieved, and neither could we.

🏴󠁧󠁒󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 A special thank you too to all of our local shopkeepers who embraced Games Week and took part in Tartan Up The Town. Your colour, creativity and enthusiasm helped make the whole town feel part of the occasion.

And finally β€” but by no means least β€” thank you to our Directors, and to the partners, families and friends who stand behind them. You put up with the meetings, the endless messages, the long days, the tired faces and the occasional grumpiness that comes with trying to put on an event of this scale. You turn up with homemade tablet and shortbread, lend a hand when something needs fixing, help with electrics, carry boxes, make tea, calm nerves and somehow keep everyone going.

Much of what you do will never be seen by the thousands of people who come through the gates.

But we see it.

And we appreciate it.

This is the spirit of Crieff Highland Gathering.

Not just one day in August.

A whole community coming together to make something special happen.

Thank you, each and every one of you. πŸ’œπŸ’š

πŸ’œπŸ’š THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS πŸ’šπŸ’œ

A Highland Games on the scale of Crieff simply doesn't happen without the support of our sponsors.

Throughout the year, businesses large and small put their support behind the Gathering, helping us bring together everything you saw at Market Park last Sunday.

From the Heavyweights to Highland Dancing, piping to Track & Field, cycling to live music β€” and everything that happens behind the scenes to make the day possible β€” their support reaches into every corner of the Games.

Some have supported us for many years. Others have joined the Crieff Highland Gathering family more recently. Some sponsor individual competitions and events, while others support the Gathering as a whole.

But every single one of them plays a part.

We're incredibly fortunate to have businesses who understand what the Gathering means β€” not just as a major event, but as part of the tradition, community and identity of Crieff.

Their backing allows us to keep investing in the Games, developing the event and bringing thousands of people together at Market Park each year.

So, from everyone at Crieff Highland Gathering, a huge and heartfelt:

THANK YOU. πŸ™

To every business and organisation that supported Crieff Highland Gathering 2026 β€” we genuinely couldn't do it without you.

Please support those who support the Games. πŸ’œπŸ’š

πŸ‘ THANK YOU – THE PROFESSIONALS BEHIND THE GAMES πŸ‘

When you look across Market Park on Games Day, everything should feel seamless.

But behind the scenes, that only happens because of a huge number of people bringing their own expertise, experience and professionalism to the Gathering.

So this one is for all of those people who help keep things safe, organised, looking great and running properly from start to finish.

A massive thank you to:

🌸 Victoria Bloom – for the beautiful table centres in Hospitality.

🚦 Alba Traffic Management – helping keep everyone moving safely around the event.

πŸ”₯ Sean Ward from Strathearn Fire Safety – for looking after an absolutely vital part of the operation.

πŸš“ Police Scotland – for their support before and during Games Day.

πŸš“ Our Traffic Wardens – yes, quite possibly still a world first in a public thank-you post! πŸ˜‚

⛑️ First Aiders – thankfully often unnoticed, but absolutely essential to an event like ours.

βš–οΈ Judges and Officials – keeping competition fair, accurate and moving throughout the day.

πŸ™Œ Stewards and Helpers – the people answering questions, directing visitors, solving problems and generally being wherever they're needed.

πŸ’ͺ Our Competitors – because without you there simply isn't a Highland Games.

πŸ₯ Our Pipe Bands – providing so much of the sound, spectacle and atmosphere that makes Games Day unmistakably Scottish.

πŸ›‘οΈ Tayguard Security – helping us keep the Gathering safe and secure.

πŸ“Έ Wee Wraith – for all their help!

πŸŽ₯ Cam-Media Photography and Video – for bringing the Gathering to life on film and helping us capture the atmosphere, action and people behind the day.

🎢 Perthshire Sound & Light – for providing the stage, sound and technical support that helped bring our Music Arena to life.

🎸 Tide Lines, The Jarad Rowan Band and Culla – for three fantastic performances and for creating such a brilliant atmosphere in the Music Arena throughout the afternoon.

🌸 Klondyke Garden Centre at Crieff Visitor Centre – for the beautiful flowers that brightened up our Hospitality Marquee.

πŸ“° The Strathearn Snapper – helping capture and share the story of the Gathering with the wider community.

🏡️ Direct Rosettes Ltd.

And a special thank you from Tony and the Beer Tent team to Alanah and Ross from Belhaven, who were there supporting the operation from set-up right through to takedown. πŸΊπŸ’™

There are so many moving parts behind an event of this size, and the reason most visitors never have to think about them is because good people are quietly getting on with the job.

Professional to the core – thank you to every one of you. We genuinely couldn't have done it without you. πŸ’œπŸ’š

πŸŽͺ THANK YOU – GOURLAY EVENTS πŸ’œπŸ’š

As the dust settles on another Crieff Highland Gathering, we have a few very important thank-yous still to make.

And where better to start than with our great friends at Gourlay Events.

A huge thank you to Alistair, Morven, Sally and Colin Gourlay, and to the entire Gourlay Events team, for everything they did to help make this year's Gathering happen. πŸ™Œ

From marquees and infrastructure to hospitality, catering and the countless things that suddenly need sorted as Games Day approaches, the Gourlays are simply one of those teams you want on your side.

Because inevitably, at some point during Games Week, somebody asks:

"Any chance you've got a tent?"

Or a gazebo.

Or a fridge.

Or a table.

Or something else we probably should have thought about three weeks earlier… πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜‚

And somehow, the Gourlay team just make things happen.

But it's about much more than equipment and logistics. They're local people who genuinely care about the Gathering, understand what we're trying to achieve and are always willing to go that little bit further to help us deliver it.

Events like ours simply don't happen without good people behind the scenes β€” and we're incredibly fortunate to have the whole Gourlay family and their team alongside us.

Alistair, Morven, Sally, Colin and everyone at Gourlay Events β€” thank you. We genuinely couldn't imagine Games Day without you. πŸ’™ Gourlay Events
