Copthorne Chasers

🌧️ The rain didn’t stop the Chasers! 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♀️

Last night was a special one as we welcomed over 20 walkers to our very first Chasers Walking Group! 🙌

The damp weather certainly didn’t put anyone off, with our new walkers heading out around Copthorne alongside our usual paced running groups.

It was fantastic to see everyone getting out, getting active and enjoying a good old chat along the way. ❤️

And, of course, no Chasers session is complete without a little socialising afterwards! 🍻☕️ We headed to Oliver’s for drinks and a catch-up.

A brilliant first evening for our walking group — welcome to the Chasers family! We can’t wait to see you all again next week. 👋

🏃‍♀️ Last night at Copthorne Chasers! 🏃‍♂️

While some chose a lovely, chatty club run, others took on the hills of Crawley with a brand-new session! 💪🔥

We focused on our uphill and downhill running, working on technique, effort and control before tackling our new Loopy Ladders — up and down the hill! ⛰️🔄

A tough one, but some brilliant efforts from everyone! 👏

Huge thanks to the for inviting us to their Horley Harriers HEART event today. An epic 36km relay race across the trails and lanes starting and finishing at the Farmhouse Pub. Each team choses its own start time and the aim was to be the closest team to 3pm to finish.

We had a great time in a mixed time of Harriers and Chasers and timed it beautifully thanks to Michael's good planning to come in with less than 5 minutes to go.

We really hope to be able to come back and join again next year.
