An eclipse, judo throws, lineouts, scrums, back moves, run-throughs and post-sun drinks 💙🖤
Another great session in the tank for the boys.
We kicked things off trying to catch the subtle eclipse, before getting into a brilliant tackling session in the heat, led by our legendary judo expert, Simon.
A slightly different approach this week, with the lads learning how to fall properly, move safely and build confidence going into contact.
Next week, we’re heading down to Barns Green for some set-piece and backs work.

It is with great sadness that St Francis RFC shares the passing of former player and 1st XV Captain, Michaelangelo Krango.
Michael was a valued and much-loved member of the St Francis family, and he will be remembered for his strength, character and contribution to the club.
Our deepest condolences are with his wife Caroline, his children, family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
Caroline has described Michael as “a true warrior until the end” who passed peacefully, surrounded by those he loved.
Details of his memorial and celebration of life will be shared once confirmed.
Rest in peace, Michael. You will always be part of St Francis RFC. 💙🖤

Fancy giving rugby a go? Or thinking about getting back into it?
Well, on Wednesday 22nd July, St Francis RFC is hosting an open training session for our men’s team at Southgate Park in Crawley.
Whether you’re completely new to rugby, looking to get back into it, or just fancy trying out a new club, come along and get involved.
This session is for players aged 16 and over. No experience is needed, just turn up and give it a go.
📍 Southgate Park, Crawley
📅 Wednesday 22nd July
⏰ 7pm–8.30pm
We’re close to Crawley train station and local bus routes, so it’s really easy to get to us.
