The UK Taekwon-Do Association is pleased to invite members to the Cardiff Area Seminar & Grading, taking place on Sunday 6th September 2026.

The seminar will be conducted by Grand Master John Taylor IX Degree, ITF Wales President.

If you're planning to Grade at the National Seminar & Grading in Aldershot (11th–13th September), don't forget that grading applications close this Wednesday, 26th August 11pm.

Please ensure your grading application is submitted before the deadline to avoid disappointment.

🥋 Not grading? Seminar-only bookings will remain open for a further 10 days, so there's still plenty of time to secure your place for the training weekend.

The UK Taekwon-Do Association Golf Day was held on Sunday 9th August at Haddon Hill.

This was another opportunity to socialise and chat over coffee in the morning, before teeing off using the Stableford Competition format with some suspect handicaps on the day.

The were opportunities for everyone on the day to win one of the categories.

Today we proudly celebrate the **59th Anniversary of the United Kingdom Taekwon-Do Association (UKTA)**.

On **2nd July 1967**, First Grand Master **Rhee Ki Ha OCM** arrived in the United Kingdom to continue teaching Taekwon-Do, laying the foundations for what would become the UK’s original Taekwon-Do organisation.

For 59 years, the UKTA has remained committed to preserving the traditions, values and technical excellence of ITF Taekwon-Do, helping to inspire generations of students and instructors across Great Britain.

Thank you to everyone, past and present, who has contributed to the continued success and growth of the UKTA.
