Both candidates demonstrated their skills and knowledge before the UKTA grading panel at the National Black Belt Grading held in Elgin on March 22nd, 2026.

And final approval was formally granted by the ITF Executive Board during its meeting on April 11th, 2026.
This prestigious promotion is a testament to their exceptional dedication, expertise, and continued contribution to the art of Taekwon-Do.
We extend our congratulations and wish them continued success and inspiration in their journey as Masters.

This prestigious promotion reflects decades of dedication, service, and contribution to our martial art.

Today, June 15, we remember General Choi Hong-Hi, the founder of Taekwon-Do, on the 24th anniversary of his passing.

His legacy lives on through the millions of practitioners around the world who continue to uphold the art and philosophy he created.

🥋 UKTA Instructor Course & Class Assistant Training Day 🥋

We had a fantastic day of learning at the recent UKTA Instructor Course and Class Assistant Training Day in Elgin, conducted by Grand Master Williamson and assisted by Grand Master Cattanach.

The attendees, all from the Elgin and Speyside Taekwon-Do Schools, showed outstanding commitment and enthusiasm throughout the day. We were delighted to achieve 100% participation, with everyone fully engaging in both the practical and theoretical elements of the course.

A huge thank you to Grand Master Williamson and Grand Master Cattanach for sharing their knowledge and experience, and congratulations to everyone who attended and contributed to making the day such a success.

We look forward to seeing these newly developed skills put into practice in the dojangs across the Elgin and Speyside area.
