An raibh a fhios agat go bhfuil muid ag glacadh páirte san Fhondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonnacha arís i mbliana? Anuraidh, bhain muid amach an bonn cré-umha agus ba mhaith linn seo a chur chun cinn go dtí an chéad chéim eile. Seo cúpla frása a bheas úsáideach thart ar an chlub. Coinnigh súil amach ar na meáin shóisialta do nathanna cainte agus áiseanna eile a bheidh úsáideach. Beatha teanga í a labhairt! 🍀
Did you know that we're taking part in the Joe McDonagh Foundation scheme again this year? Last year we achieved a bronze medal and we have been aiming to build on that this year. Here are some useful phrases that you can use around the club. Keep an eye on our social media for more useful phrases and resources 🍀

You might know the man who’s always smiling, having a laugh and getting on with his day.
The man who seems strong, keeps showing up and looks like everything is okay.
But what we see on the outside doesn’t always tell the full story.
Because sometimes the biggest struggles are the ones nobody sees.
The smile can be real.
The laughter can be real.
The good days can be real.
And so can the moments when everything feels too much.
The Person Behind the Mask is a new closed, confidential online men’s group from Changing Lives NI created for men who might not feel comfortable walking into a room, but still need someone to talk to.
No standing in front of a room.
No having to explain yourself.
No judgement.
Just a safe space to talk, listen and connect with other men who understand that life isn’t always as it looks from the outside.
That man looking at his phone in our video could be any one of us.
He might be the man you work beside.
Your mate.
Your brother.
Your dad.
Or maybe… you.
And picking up the phone and asking for support isn’t weakness.
Sometimes, it’s simply taking a moment to say, “I could do with a chat.”
💜💚 The person behind the mask deserves to be heard 💜💚
