Please note Credit Union Offices at both Gilford and Gibsons Hill will be closed for Holidays on Thursday 16th July.
All other Thursdays opening hours as normal ie 2.30 to 4.00 pm and 7.00 to 8.00pm in Gilford and 7.30 to 8.30pm in Gibsons Hill.

The Credit Union would apologise for none availability of card machine over past few weeks. New machine has now been installed and full services restored.

Early notification The Credit Union will be closed on Thursday 16th July all other weeks open as normal.
We hope all our members family and friends have a great summer break whether at home or if travelling.

Five members of The Stramore Board will travel to Cookstown tomorrow and will represent The Credit Union at the annual conference of The trade body The UFCU.
They will join other delegates from Federation Credit Unions across Northern Ireland will hear a review of the year,discuss matters of common importance and will influence direction of The Federation for the year ahead.
The Federation run Benevolent and loan protection schemes as well as assisting in matters like training, Compliance and many other areas within the regulated business.
Its help and guidance is esential in ensuring its member Credit Unions are kept up to date and allowed to develop with confidence serving their target Community.

Folks just a reminder that Stramore Community Credit Union is a volunteer run limited opening hours Credit Union. Gilford open 2.30pm to 4.00pm and 7.00pm to 8.00pm every Thursday. Gibsons Hill opens 7.30 to 8.30pm every Thursday.
Whilst our volunteers are always prepared to assist members when possible outside these hours and will continue to do so please try and plan ahead Thursday to Thursday to assist us to manage our resources.

The Board of Stramore Community Credit Union recognises the impact of the war on Iran. It has pushed the price of petrol and home heating oil up significantly possibly catching some of our community on the hop.
We are unable to help regarding the cost at the pumps however if any of our members needs heating oil but is struggling to find the cash needed please call with.us.
From 12th March, The Credit Union will make available to senior members who are not in arrears a loan of up to £1000 which can run alongside any current loan It is specifically to buy heating oil. The terms of the loan is that 5% of loan is paid up front for interest ie £50 for max loan £1000.00 with the capital to be paid back over a period that keeps repayments affordable. This is an offer which may be withdrawn at any time by Credit Union.
It is a condition of the offer that The cheque or bank transfer is made directly to the
oil Company so make sure that works with your oil company before applying for loan.
Loans can be cleared without penalty at any time. Dont Freeze contact us.

Please note the £10 annual subscription due from senior members accounts will be made from accounts during April.
This is a mandatory payment due from all senior members of all participating UFCU Credit Unions and is paid to The Ulster Federation Of Credit Unions Benevolent fund which makes payments to Beneficiaries when members pass away.
