⚽️ FREE WEEK… BUT WE DON’T WANT ONE! 💪

After a fantastic start to our 9a side season, we find ourselves with a free week this weekend.

Not something we really wanted, as the boys are desperate to keep the momentum going after such a strong start.

So, we’re looking for a friendly match this Wednesday to keep the boys on their toes and make sure we’re ready to go again next weekend.

Another top-class performance from the whole squad on Sunday, and once again the boys are making these decisions harder and harder for the coaches every single week! 👏🖤⚽️

Super 7s Player of the Match — Muir

Muir picked up the Super 7s Player of the Match after an incredible performance from start to finish. A hattrick on Sunday, including a couple of absolute screamers!

Coaches’ Players of the Match — Harris & Lewis

It was impossible to separate these two, with Harris and Lewis both picking up the Coaches’ Player of the Match awards.
Lewis on the right and Harris on the left absolutely terrorised the defence all game. Their quick feet, slick passing and deliveries into the box were a joy to watch. Both also got themselves on the scoresheet!

From Liam in goals, right through the defence, midfield and attackers, every single player gave absolutely everything.
The coaches genuinely couldn’t be prouder of how this team is progressing. The boys are working incredibly hard, improving every week and showing exactly what they can do.
We know there are some tough opponents still to come, but we’ll continue taking each game as it comes and working as hard as possible to make every game difficult for whoever we face next.

We go again today hoping to maintain our unbeaten start to 9s. Depleted squad with a couple out injured 🤕 but the boys will give it their absolute all as normal.

🔥 MEET THE PLAYER – LEWIS THOMSON 🔥

Lewis has been with the club for a number of weeks now and has been an absolutely fantastic addition to the team. He’s slotted in perfectly and already looks like he’s been part of the group for much longer.

One of Lewis’s biggest strengths is his ability to use both feet, giving us another great option going forward.

He’s already found himself on the scoresheet a few times in our opening two matches, which is a fantastic start to his time with us.

We’re delighted to have Lewis on board and can’t wait to see what he can bring for the rest of the season.

Slight disappointment not to win the match considering the amount of opportunities created, however we have started our 9aside journey so far in decent fashion with a win and draw. Onto the next one.
