Another day, another show. 2 x rider errors today 🙈but so proud of this combination in their last season together 🌟
The last time I was at New Forest and Hampshire County Show I was in 14.2SP!! Hopefully won’t be 30 years before our next visit!

As we don’t have a LR/FR jockey Ella felt Tilly (H.Jauntilly) was missing out on going to shows so we embarked on an in hand outing last weekend.
1st SP in hand, 2nd young handler, section champion then reserve supreme of show!!!!
Think this may be a new chapter on Tilly’s CV 😂

Absolutely heartbroken 💔
Hollybush Trump Card (Trouble) 2001-2026
Sire: Beckside Top Notch
Dam: Bengad Crown Daisy (my LR SP)
It’s difficult to put into words just how much this pony meant to our family. Bred by mum and sold as an unbroken 3 yr old to Rachel Frank who brought him out as a SHP. With wins too numerous to mention, his next home was with Sarah Flavell, where his success continued. Mum had said that if she became a grandmother, she wanted to buy him back for the children. The van praagh family honoured mum’s wish and he returned home to Hollybush after the RI in 2014.
He bounced back after stifle and annular ligament surgeries and a nasty field accident where he cut his throat.
He taught countless children to ride (including mum’s 4 grandchildren) competing in tiny tots workers, LR WHP, LR SHP, FYFR, 12hh SHP, veterans. He was the greatest showman and knew when people were watching him.
He loved pony club, helping herd the sheep, loading himself on the lorry when it was parked in his field and certainly lived up to his name - sheep hurdles and electric fencing were no deterrent when there was grass to be found and his stable door needed 3 bolts on it to stop him escaping!
2023 saw mum’s dreams come true, where at the age of 22, he qualified for the 122cm SHP @ HOYS and was placed 8th with only 1 show mark below the winner.
He was THE safest pony - he never needed working in, just off the lorry and into the ring. He took Ella into the Supreme Championship @ Brecon County Show when she was just off the lead: a huge, buzzy ring but he just looked after her. I would have trusted him to hack my kids the length of the UK on their own.
WE owe him everything. I’m forever grateful to mum for buying him back - it was one of the best decisions she’s made.
Trubs we love you xx sleep tight xx
Ella has kept some of your tail as a good luck charm in her show jacket 💔
