Club in its present format has been running since 1967, the club is based in Tile Hill on the grounds of the Standard Triumph Recreation Club in Coventry. The Triumph Amateur Boxing club in 1967 was taken over by Tom McGarry, Tom was a high-level England manager and ABA executive. Tom retired in 2001 due to ill health and running of club was taken over by Dinesh Darbar, who has been a club member

To the Trustees of the Standard Triumph Club, Mick Spain, and the entire Standard Triumph community.
It is with a heavy heart, but an overwhelming sense of gratitude, that we announce our departure from the gym.
While this chapter is coming to an end, we want to focus on celebrating the incredible 40-year legacy that you helped us build.
For four decades, Standard Triumph Club has been the absolute backbone of Triumph Amateur Boxing Club. By generously providing us with a free gym space, you gave our local community something invaluable: truly affordable access to boxing for generations of local youth.
Your support did not just keep doors open; it transformed lives. Because of this space, we were able to provide a vital lifeline for our youth, steering countless young people away from anti-social behaviour and giving them a safe, positive focus.
Within the four walls of the Triumph Gym, Kids from the local community didn't just learn how to box, they built self-esteem, unlocked true confidence, and grew into strong, disciplined individuals.
The quality of boxers produced in this gym has been nothing short of incredible.
Together, we have nurtured raw talent right from the grassroots level all the way to international stages, producing countless champions along the way. None of these sporting achievements or personal triumphs would have been possible without your backing.
We simply cannot thank the Trustees, and Mick Spain enough. Your unwavering belief in our mission has left a permanent mark on this area. You did not just provide a building; you provided a family and a foundation for this community to thrive.
Thank you for 40 years of generosity, dedication, and life-changing support. We are eternally grateful for everything you have done for us.

Triumph ABC-Coventry: JUST OVER A WEEK TO GO & A HUGE THANK YOU TO TAIWO OWATEMI MP!
On Friday, we met with MP, Taiwo Owatemi, to discuss the incredibly urgent situation facing our gym. We were shockingly given just 4 weeks to vacate our current premises—and we now have just over 1 week left.
We are so incredibly grateful to Taiwo for taking the time to listen to us, understanding how vital this gym is to the Coventry community, and offering her support in helping us find a new home.
Having our MP in our corner gives us a massive boost at this critical moment. We are fighting hard to find our new premises.

Triumph ABC-Coventry: A positive step forward...
Thank you to Councillor Dunc Clark for visiting the gym for a private discussion regarding our 4-week notice period (now 2-Weeks to ago).
It was a valuable opportunity to share our plight directly and advocate for the physical and mental well-being of all our members. I really appreciate Councillor Clark taking our situation seriously and listening to our concerns.
The clock is ticking, but the fight to find a new premises continues. Thank you all for your ongoing support.
