Message from our club secretary: Enjoying our facilities safely:

"With the recent warm weather, it’s been great to see so many members enjoying the club, but we’d like to remind everyone to be respectful of each other’s playing areas and to keep safety in mind.

Cricket

* Please keep off the cricket field when games are in progress and never enter the square unless you are a player or member of the ground staff.
* Do not walk behind the bowler’s arm during play, as this can distract the batter.
* Please do not climb on or play with any cricket ground equipment e.g. sight screens and covers.

* Do not play football in the cricket nets and do not climb on the nets or climb/swing on the net gates.

* Remember that cricket balls can travel at high speed. For your own safety, please be vigilant during matches or training, stay clear of the playing area and ensure children are supervised at all times.

Tennis

* Please do not adjust the tennis nets.
* Tennis courts are for tennis only. Footballs and other balls are not permitted.
* When matches are in progress, please avoid walking or playing games, behind or around the court.

Parents and guardians play an important role in helping us keep the club safe and enjoyable for everyone. We would be grateful if you could take a few moments to remind your children of these expectations, including where they can and cannot play, respecting sports equipment and facilities, and being mindful of others who are taking part in cricket or tennis activities. A simple conversation about these dos and don'ts can make a big difference and help ensure that all members can enjoy the club safely and facilities are not damaged.

Our aim is not to discourage anyone from enjoying the club, but to ensure it remains a safe, welcoming environment for all and equipment is not damaged.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation."

Regards, Dean Wragg

A good 7 wicket win away at Kenilworth Cricket Club wraps up the U13 Championship season, with the team finishing a creditable 3rd in the league. Thanks to our volunteer coaches, our parents and players for their support. Thanks too to Kenilworth CC - always great hosts.

Junior training on Thursday 25th and Friday 26 June is cancelled due to the extreme heat. We must prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our young players.

11/06/2026

Junior training Thursday 11th June is OFF because its raining. But we're adding an extra session on July 16th to make up for it. So take that, El Nino.

We will make a decision on Thursday training as soon as we can. Forecast not looking great. Please keep an eye on this page for an update

Congratulations to our U10 Charlie H who opened the batting for Warwickshire vs Staffordshire today and scored his first 50. Eventually out for 60 in a tense final over defeat for the baby Bears. Played, Charlie!
