Pools to Schools is BACK in the Wirral – launching September 2026!

After a two-year absence, we’re thrilled to be bringing Pools to Schools back to the Wirral and surrounding areas under the leadership of a new, carefully selected franchise partner, marking a fresh chapter of quality, professionalism and excellence for local schools.

At ELITE Swimming UK, we’re passionate about giving every child the opportunity to learn this essential life skill in a safe, convenient and engaging environment. We’re excited to build new partnerships with schools across the region and deliver the exceptional service and standards that define our programme.

At ELITE Swimming UK, we believe learning to swim goes hand in hand with learning how to stay safe in and around water. Water safety is a vital life skill and one that deserves our focus every single day.

Our thoughts are with the families and communities affected by the tragic drowning incidents seen across the UK in recent weeks and months. These heartbreaking events remind us all of the importance of education, awareness and vigilance around water.

Throughout this week, our team across the UK will be using the fantastic Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK resources in both the pool and the classroom, helping children develop practical knowledge and understanding of how to stay safe around water.

By working together with parents, schools, teachers and local communities, we can build confidence, encourage safer behaviours and help prevent future tragedies.

Let's continue to educate, raise awareness and support one another in making water safety a priority. Every conversation and every lesson has the potential to save a life.

We are growing again! Due to demand, we’re expanding our programme and increasing our number of pools, creating new opportunities for qualified Swim Teachers and Lifeguards to join us.

✔ Monday to Friday only
✔ 9:00am – 3:00pm
✔ 30 Hours Per Week
✔ Min 12 Weeks GUARANTEED April - July 2026
✔ Coventry schools

ROLES

🏊‍♀️ Level 2 Swim Teachers
- Must hold a valid Level 2 swimming teacher qualification
- Confident teaching independently

🛟 Lifeguards
- Must hold a valid NPLQ or NRASTAC
- Previous experience helpful but not essential

A great day at the Conference, with brilliant speakers and valuable conversations throughout.

The final seminar, hosted by Chris Hayes with Ian Ogilvie CMIOSH MPWTAG MISPE MCIMSPA, Jimmy Lamb FISPE and others, focused on temporary pools was a fantastic opportunity to be involved in and share what we do.
