Hello all,
the Club is planning to run a Men's Health event on Saturday 25th July at 10.30 in Gortalowry House. One of our members Dr Brown will be there to speak with us all and we would like to get an ideal of how many will be in attendance. This will be the first part of the event with another date to follow with the possibly a Barbecue everyone afterwards.

There is a newly formed club at Coagh Weir which will be strictly private, this is an agreement between landowner and the newly formed club.
Bailiffs Will be doing patrols on the grounds.

Coagh angling club and the new club at the Weir are two separate clubs entirely.

Coagh Weir

​We have received many messages regarding the new fishing club which has started at Coagh weir. This is not run by our club, but it is run by local men, they started this club due to ongoing, unacceptable anti-social behavior—including fly-tipping, unauthorised fires, littering with broken glass, and severe human fouling of private agricultural land at Coagh Weir the new fishing club for that area has implemented bailiff patrols. The landowner fully supports these actions.

PRIVATE WATERS — MEMBERS ONLY
​Coagh Angling Club wishes to clarify that all fishing on the Coagh Angling Club stretch is strictly private.

We have had a number of people on our stretch this week with no tickets.

​Please be advised of the following in relation to the waters held by Coagh Angling Club:

Coagh Angling Club lease our lands from the landowner and we hold the exclusive lease for the Water Rights for the Ballinderry River from the Honourable Irish Society.

​The club holds full public liability insurance for our waters and funds all river bank maintenance and environmental upkeep through membership fees and fundraising.

​Day tickets are not available for purchase at local retail outlets, including the local Spar. Access is strictly limited to card-carrying club members.

​Any non-members found fishing this stretch will be instructed to leave the land immediately. Refusal to comply will be treated as aggravated trespass; the police will be contacted immediately, and individuals will be escorted from the grounds.

​The club operates a zero-tolerance policy regarding unauthorised access and poaching.

Tree removal just above the Weir at Benson's hole.
A good few hours yesterday and helping hands we had the big tree finally out! 💪

Last weekend, we enjoyed a well-deserved day off from our usual work party 😁
One of our team members happened to be down that direction anyway and spotted a fallen tree blocking the path.
Wasn't too long before he had it was taken care of and the pathway opened back up for people out enjoying the walk 🚶🚶‍♀️🐕‍🦺

That's our bridge now transported to site if all's well hopefully it'll be installed this year 🤞
