Thought we should stick up a wee update after the Tandragee and Southern 100, as a team were really happy with how Conrod has taken to our little 600 Suzuki, and I think the results show that, Tandragee 6th place and Southern 100 we’d a 7th,8th and 10th, considering Conor hasn’t raced there for 12yrs it’s on the money. The little 600 is definitely lacking a bit of bhp so we’ve knuckled in and got the 750 sorted for Armoy. See you all next weekend. Drew 🖊

The Mike Hailwood Foundation.

I met up with Adam Clucas from The Mike Hailwood Foundation when over spectating at the Southern 100 road races.

The foundation was setup by a group of volunteers. A cafe in the TT paddock providing food and drink for everyone, with all funds raised going back into the sport to help support newcomers to the mountain course and I was fortunate enough to have their support this year.

If and when you are in the Isle of Man paddock for the Manx, Classic TT & TT races, please be sure to support the foundation that supports the riders! I think I speak on behalf of every rider who has been lucky enough to have their support in the past that we are all so grateful for the help Adam and the entire group of volunteers provide for us all from the Hailwood centre! Just a quick update for everyone who has kindly kept in touch and messaged over the past few weeks.

I got home from Aintree last week after one week in the care of the Walton Centre. Following a CT scan just before Leana and I hopped on a ferry for home the results showed that the five fractured vertabrae and shoulder blade are in a stable state. I will have to wear a brace for three to four months in the hope that I won't need surgery to stablise the crushed T3 vertabrae. The next few months will be filled with trips to and from Belfast for CT scans and physio but things could always be worse and fingers crossed we won't require metal work.

Obviously I will be out of action for a while but the MadBros team will have some exciting news for you all in the coming days ahead of the Tandragee 100. Keep your eyes peeled!! Gary 🖊

🙏 GARY McCOY UPDATE - POSITIVE NEWS FROM THE WALTON CENTRE 🙏

A welcome update last night from Northern Ireland’s Gary McCoy following his crash in the Monster Energy Supersport race at the 2026 Isle of Man TT.

Gary remains at the Walton Centre at Aintree Hospital, awaiting CT scan results to confirm whether his broken vertebrae are stable enough for the journey home to Belfast. He has been in a neck brace since last Wednesday - and medical staff are now hopeful that the brace may be sufficient to avoid surgery.

In a thoughtful update on the MadBros Racing page, Gary thanked everyone for the kind messages - his wife Leana and Josh for looking after him during the past week, the Isle of Man welfare officer Brenda, road racing star Lee Johnston, and his employer Mulgrew Haulage for their understanding during a difficult time.

He also paid special tribute to RST and Arai for the gear that protected him: "Without them I mightn't have been as fortunate."

🏁 A BRILLIANT TT DEBUT
Apart from the mishap in the Supersport race, Gary leaves the Mountain Course with plenty of positives from a remarkable maiden TT campaign with MadBros Racing:
🔹 Lapped at 124mph in Superstock qualifying
🔹 Nearly 120mph in his Supersport class debut
🔹 Fastest newcomer at the 2026 TT

In his own words: "It's a credit to everyone in the MadBros team who keep the wheels turning."

And looking forward: "We will be back next year if everything's right - to keep learning, progressing and get some racing in… if the wife doesn't bury me before then!" 😄
