Race day one at Kimbolton for British Kart Championships Rotax Event 3.

Qualifying gets the weekend underway before two heats per driver this afternoon. Finding a clean lap in qualifying and carrying that momentum into the heat programme will be the focus today.

British Kart Championships Rotax. Event 3. Kimbolton.

The British Kart Championships is the highest level of club kart racing in the UK, attracting the strongest fields across the Rotax categories. Event 3 heads to Kimbolton in Cambridgeshire for what promises to be a highly competitive weekend.

Kimbolton sits on the former site of a USAF bomber base from the Second World War. The track is smooth and flowing, with a layout that opens up as confidence builds across the weekend. Carrying speed through the faster sections is key, and those who find their rhythm early in practice tend to maximise what follows.

Saturday runs NQP, Qualifying and two heats per driver. Sunday moves into the Super Heat and Final. Building a clean, solid Saturday is what sets up a strong Sunday.

Rowrah ✔️

Round 4 of the RMC UKC and Mattie Hingeley made it three wins in a row acrosshis season. That kind of consistency at the front of a national Senior Rotax field does not happen by chance.

Across the rest of the squad there were strong results, hard racing and continued progress through one of the most technically demanding circuits on the calendar.

Qualifying and heats are done. Today moves into Super Heats and Finals where the weekend's work gets decided. Every position matters and there's still everything to play for.

Race day one at Rowrah for RMC UKC Round 4.

Qualifying gets underway this morning before the heats across all classes. Getting a clean lap in early and building rhythm through the heat programme will be the priority today.

RMC UK Championship. Round 4. Rowrah.

The RMC UK Championship is one of the most competitive Rotax-based series in the country, drawing strong grids across Mini, Junior and Senior. Round 4 brings the championship to one of the most unique venues on the calendar.

Rowrah is set in the Cumbrian fells and presents a genuine test unlike anywhere else. Significant elevation changes run throughout the lap, demanding both physical commitment and precise setup work to get the most from the kart. Reading the track through practice and translating that into the weekend ahead is key.

The RMC UKC format runs Qualifying and Heats on Saturday, with Super Heats and Finals on Sunday. Early consistency through qualifying sets the tone. Those who build rhythm quickly tend to carry it all the way through to Sunday afternoon.

Round 4 of The Kart Championship at Rowrah. A 1-2-3 for Ultimate R in Senior Rotax headlined a weekend of results, progress and lessons across the squad.

🟡⚫ Mini Max
Jensen Skeff worked through a competitive Mini Max field across both days, bringing the kart home 14th in the Final.

🔴⚪ Junior
Thomas Butcher produced his best qualifying performance of the season, running just 0.4 seconds off pole before a strong repechage finish secured P39 overall.

Jasper Oakes made forward progress in almost every session, climbing from 24th to 16th in the repechage across twelve laps of racing in traffic.

Nathaniel Gray finished second in the repechage to earn his Final spot, crossing the line 25th in a competitive Junior field.

Blair Smith worked hard across the heats before the Final ended early, with development to take forward into Round 5.

🔵⚪ Senior
James Kell won the Senior Rotax Final, winning from P9 on the grid and setting the fastest lap of the race in a complete weekend performance.

Elliot Dalton-Ayres backed it up with second, contributing to the 1-2-3 for Ultimate R on the Rowrah podium.

Kai Newman took third while managing a bent chassis for the entire weekend. The result speaks for itself.

Sam Kelbrick showed strong pace throughout but was caught up in incidents across the heats, finishing 20th in the Final.
