🦈 SUMMER LEAGUE WEEK 4 RESULTS 🦈

Another brilliant week for our Sharks teams, with both teams taking home a win! 💙💛

🔵 Sharks Navy vs Menai Fusion

We knew this one was going to be a challenge, but Navy showed exactly what they’re made of and proved their strength as a team.

Navy held the lead throughout the game, working tirelessly across the court and maintaining a healthy gap on the scoreboard, even when Menai Fusion capitalised on the Super Shot. Their composure, teamwork and determination ensured they stayed in control right through to the final whistle.

Player of the Match went to Beth English, whose impact in both wing positions was crucial throughout the game.

Players’ Player was awarded to Kate Barton, who never stopped running at Centre despite the heat and gave everything for the team from start to finish.

🟡 Sharks Gold vs Craig-y-Don

Sharks Gold went into the game with a positive mindset and a real can-do attitude, and it paid off!

After a strong first half, Gold came back even stronger after the break, converting those crucial chances and showing great determination to secure a well-deserved and hard-fought win.

Player of the Match went to Shelley, who was phenomenal in defence and a key part of Gold’s success.

Players’ Player was awarded to Chloe, whose accurate shooting delivered the crucial goals when they mattered most.

A huge well done to both teams for their effort, teamwork and resilience. Another great week to be a Shark! 🦈💙💛

WEEK 3 RESULTS

Another fantastic evening of netball for our Sharks teams, with plenty of determination, teamwork and standout performances across the court!

🔵 Sharks Navy vs Summercats

A big win for Sharks Navy! From the first whistle, Navy held their ground, worked tirelessly and made the most of every opportunity that came their way.

A special mention goes to Nat, who made her return to the court after two years away and was awarded Player of the Match for an excellent shooting performance. It’s great to have you back, Nat! 💙

Players’ Player went to Dave, whose crucial work in defence helped keep Navy in control throughout the game.

🟡 Sharks Gold vs Llandudno Sparks

Despite the result not going their way, Sharks Gold gave everything from start to finish and never stopped fighting.

Player of the Match went to Seren, whose influence through the midcourt was invaluable all game long.

Players’ Player was awarded to Nikki for her relentless work in attack and constant effort for the team.

Well done to all our players for representing the club with such commitment and spirit. We go again next week! 💙💛

🔥 SUMMER LEAGUE SHOWDOWN 🔥

What a game between Sharks Gold 🟡 and Sharks Navy 🔵!

A fantastic contest from start to finish, with both teams producing some brilliant netball and showing exactly what the Sharks club is all about.

Sharks Gold came out strong, with some excellent attacking play in the first half ensuring they stayed right on the tails of Sharks Navy throughout. But Navy’s defensive unit stepped up in the second half, tightening things up and helping their side edge ahead before holding their lead right through to the final whistle.

A special shout-out to Molly for scoring the first Super Shot of the Summer League!

⭐ Player of the Match: Stella – outstanding defensive work throughout the game.
👏 Players’ Player: A tie between Bex and Vicky for their excellent performances and team contributions.

Sharks Navy Awards
⭐ Player of the Match: Kate – relentless work rate and influence at Centre all game long.
👏 Players’ Player: A three-way tie between defenders Dave, Alexa and Bren, whose efforts at the back were instrumental in Navy’s victory. With the deciding vote cast by Mel, this week’s award goes to Bren!

Well played to everyone involved – a great advert for the club and a brilliant way to kick off the Summer League season! 🦈💛💙
