Congleton v Astbury Annual Ryder Cup Event
Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September

All at CGC would like to wish the players from Congleton Golf Club and Asbury Golf Astbury Golf Club, the very best of luck in next weekend's annual Ryder Cup competition.

This is a fantastic tradition and event and it would be great to see as many supporters as possible across the two days and for the presentation after completion on Sunday afternoon.

Tickets are on sale now behind the bar at £50 per head, which include a fabulous two course meal and live entertainment & dancing until midnight.

Another Congleton Golf Club Hole in One - Ewan Hare

Back in May this year, we posted the fabulous achievement of Aiden (16 at the time) Hare's 'Hole in One' on the 3rd hole whilst playing with his brother Ewan and fellow Junior Member Isaac Walton. This was a very proud day for 'Family Hare' after Aiden, Ewan and Dad David, all joined Congleton Golf Club together in June 2025.

Well, it must have been an equally proud weekend last week, with Ewan (15) scoring his own 'Hole In One' on Saturday 5 September on the very same 3rd Hole.

Congratulations Ewan from everybody at CGC. Awesome achievement indeed and we are all very proud of you.

Greenkeepers Day - Thank you

The 8 September was officially day and golf clubs around the country are taking the opportunity to recognise this special day through this week.
