We don’t normally share videos quite this long, but this week felt like an important one to share 💕

Our Musical Theatre Camp started with a story on a page about finding your place, having your voice heard and recognising that everyone matters.

But as the week unfolded, we realised we weren’t just telling that story on stage. We were living it.

In just four days, our cast brought a full musical together, with every single performer playing an important part in telling the story.

Our youngest performers were given their moments to shine, while our older performers naturally became their role models. They encouraged them, included them, helped them and made them feel like what they brought to the stage mattered. ✨

That is something we see within VLDD every day.

Our little performers often find their “idols” among the older pupils. They watch them, learn from them and dream of being like them one day.

And then, before we know it, those little performers become the older ones. The role models. The ones making the next generation feel seen, included and important 💕

That was the story we performed this week, but more importantly, it’s the story we are already living within our studio.

We hope that legacy continues for many years to come🌟
