🏁 A special weekend for the NW200 team in Hořice!

The Briggs Equipment Ireland NW200 team travelled to the Czech Republic at the weekend for the final round of the European Series Road Racing (ESR) , where we were delighted to be presented with an award recognising our partnership with the series.

ESR is an independent SBK championship featuring six road races across Europe, with riders competing on powerful production-based superbikes.

2026 saw ESR visit the NW200 for the first time, bringing riders and teams from across Europe to Northern Ireland and adding another international dimension to race week. It was fantastic to welcome the championship to the NW200 and see European competitors take on the famous Triangle circuit.

Congratulations to Fedrik Matthys, who was crowned the overall ESR Champion! 🏆

A special mention also goes to Laurent Hoffmann , founder of ESR, whose passion for road racing is at the heart of the series. Laurent is hugely committed to seeing ESR continue to grow and provide opportunities for riders who share that same passion.

We were proud to be part of the 2026 ESR season and look forward to continuing our partnership in the future.

Thank you to Laurent and the whole ESR team for the award and for being part of the NW200. 🏁

We are deeply sorry at the passing of our dear friend, Jim Gracey.

An amazingly gifted sports writer, Jim was a huge road racing fan, friend to all of us within Coleraine & District Motor Club and a familiar face and wonderful supporter of the North West 200.

One of our biggest media personalities and an all round great guy.

Thoughts with Jim’s wife, Paula his close family and many friends.

The Briggs Equipment North West 200 extends its deepest condolences following the passing of Daniel Ingham after an incident at this year’s Isle of Man TT Races.

Daniel joined us as a newcomer in 2024 and quickly became a familiar and welcome face around the paddock. His passion for motorcycle racing, commitment to the sport and friendly nature left a lasting impression on all who met him.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Daniel’s family, friends, team and the wider road racing community at this incredibly difficult time.

Daniel will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Daniel.
