Hi All...You will have been receiving emails from TTE promoting the new TT Hub for player membership replacing Sport80. Important you are proactive and login to the new system. They advise Auto-renewals have not transferred over from the previous system, so current membership will expire on Friday 31 July.

The Modern Player's Barrier (Table Tennis England Data):National insight from Table Tennis England shows that 94% of traditional local league matches start after 7:00 pm, meaning the majority finish after 10:00 pm. Their surveys reveal that late finishes are a primary source of dissatisfaction. Transitioning to shorter formats actively targets "at-risk" players who love the sport but drop out solely because of late weeknight finishes.

'ECTTA supports Colchester in trialling this new system and will follow its progress with great interest. We suspect it could be a real success, and we hope to report on its effectiveness in future editions of The Scimitar.

I personally look forward to playing for Tollgate TTC next season — and to getting home to Chelmsford at a reasonable hour!
