Unfortunately the result went against us with the Full Welsh U18 Squad playing. England 8 Wales 16
It was a terrific experience for the the English team. One I'm sure will stay with them for a long time. Thank you to Wilmslow Golf Club, which was fabulously presented and to Lily Hawes who carried of the Captains duties with great dignity and respect for her fellow players and the opposition.

And so it begins, Wales we are coming for you....

Yesterday saw the last big Schools tournament of the year. English Schools Team Championship at Woodhall Spa.

Essex Golf College were playing in the Gross section and Joyce Frankland Academy in the Nett. Both did very well on difficult courses in challenging weather. 2 scores counted for position. JFA came 21st out of 31 teams, Essex GC where Runners up for the 2nd year in succession.

Rhys Hatcher who played in Championships and represented Essex Schools since he was 11, has now moved to playing for Hertfordshire Schools, Walked away with the lowest Individual score winning by 2 shots. With Emily being the highest placed Essex individual in 7th, well done Ems. Good luck as you move onto pasture new. Thank you for always supporting Essex Schools.
