This lad doesn’t just turn water into wine, he turns fullbacks into pretzels! He’s so quick he makes DC look slow and apparently races cheetahs at work just for a laugh.

RETAINED - W Batten

Winner of goal of the season in 25/26, this lad never switches off.
Absolute engine of a player. From when he arrives at the game to when he leaves, his engine is always running!

Retained - The Johnson Brothers

Archie joined the club last season at 16 and won young player of year as well as notching up more appearances than any other player last season. He loves nothing more than to kick back with a WKD tops (under his parents supervision)

Henry “Johno” Johnson also joined the club at 16 and was the first of the youth players to reach 50 appearances for the club and is this seasons vice club captain. He has also been compared to a Labrador on at least 1 occasion this season.

Tom Johnson, the boss of the Johnson Brother’s! Tom loves to show off his dance moves after scoring and has never lost a header in his life. Apparently he’s really smart so we ran with it.

NEW SIGNING - C Howard

A proper no9! This lad knows where the goal is and scored a brace on his debut. Conor spent the last few years in Thailand, I don’t know what’s in the water out there but the return of his hairline is truly remarkable!

NEW SIGNING & RETAINED - The Smith Brothers

First up we have Marcus! When he’s not setting up Bronco’s, painting roundabouts or filling up water bottles, he’s head of the West Bergholt Ultras and has battered at least 1 door this season.

Harry set off for a year of travelling the world but when he heard his big bro Marcus got the gig as water boy, he knew what he had to do. He got on the first bus from Stansted to Bergholt and hasn’t looked back since, notching up 1 goal and 2 assists in 4 games.

Last but certainly not least. 25/26 managers player of the season and Bergholt’s No10, Joel. The youngest of the 3 brothers, he’s a conductor, club doctor and kit man, he also does the AI images so it’s not worth taking the p**s out of him.
