Thereโs more than one correct way!
Here are three different methods used by our CRHC coaches, all creating the secure Y-shape that helps hold the boot firmly on the foot while allowing freedom of movement at the ankle.

The countdown to a new season starts here. Player registration is now open for the 2027 England Roller Hockey season, which gets underway on 1 September.
Log in to your ERH account and complete your registration before the season begins. Whether you're returning to the rink or joining the sport for the first time, every player must be registered before they can train or play with their club.
Registration Fees
Officials need to update their registration - No charge
Players in all age grades returning to play competitive hockey - ยฃ60.00
Players training only - ยฃ40.00
First Year Registration - never played competitive hockey before - ยฃ40.00

๐งก Welcome to the Colchester Roller Hockey Club family! ๐ค
This season we've welcomed over 20 new faces to the club.
From young beginners taking their very first steps on skates, to returning players, adult beginners, parents joining in, players visiting from Peterborough, and even an ice hockey player giving roller hockey a try.
To every new player, thank you for choosing Colchester.
And to all of our existing players, coaches, volunteers and families, thank you for making our club such a friendly and welcoming place. We wouldn't be Colchester without you.
